When September Ends [Complete]

Prologue

“Babe I’m sorry! Let’s talk about it!”

“No! I’ve seen enough!”

“Babe please open the door! Let me explain!”

“I’m tired of your excuses! We’re over now!”

Massie slid down from her door to the floor, crying her heart out. Her drenched body was trembling in coldness and her heart was beating fast. She wanted to believe that it’s not real but her eyes can’t deny what it just saw. Everything became blurry as her tears won’t stop flowing down her face. She can hear the other pounding on her door but she doesn't want to see his face. She doesn't want to talk to him. She doesn't want to hear his reason this time.  Massie made up her mind, they’re over now.

Chan continued to beat the door as he pleads for another chance. He doesn’t mind the heavy rain and the cold air striking his body. He wanted to clarify things but he doesn’t know how to since he’s caught already. He can’t feel his hands anymore as it swelled. He can hear the other harshly crying on the other side but he can’t do anything. He wanted to see her. He wanted to talk to her. He wanted to hear forgiveness from her. But Chan’s world stopped when the other said, they’re over now.

Massie rushed to her room and threw herself to his bed. She doesn't care if she’s all wet. She buried her face to her pillow and cried. All she can feel now is pain and sadness.

The rain stopped soon as Chan started to walk away from the house. His clothes were almost dry when he reached his home. As soon as he stepped inside, all he can see are their memories. He went straight to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of beer and sat on the floor. He wants to drown himself from alcohol just to ease the pain.
