Days go by slower than (Y/n) would've wanted. The cut on her hand was kinda healed but she keeps it wrapped in gauze to prevent it from opening. The problem is, no one could figure out why her back hurts all the time.

Her brothers, even Technoblade, suggests her to just stay in her bed but she refuses. She doesn't want to be a burden to anyone.

So despite her aching back, she got up and marched to the dining hall for lunch.

"(Y/n)? What are you doing here?! You're suppose to be resting." Wilbur exclaimed, leaving his food and rushing to his sister.

"I'm better now, Wil.. It doesn't hurt anymore." (Y/n) smiled, trying to hide the pain.

Wilbur was dumb enough to believe her but she's fine with that, after all, she doesn't want them to know.

They both sat down and ate lunch. Wilbur continuing his while (Y/n) got served a new one.

Right after lunch, Wilbur excused himself and left. Technoblade and Tommy went to the training pavillion once more, as Tommy requested, while (Y/n) followed behind.

Tommy and Technoblade were practicing long-range weapons while (Y/n) sat down, leaning her back against the wall which caused her back to erupt in pain for a few seconds before subsiding.

She just sat there, motionlessly zoning out. If someone sees her, they would immediately think that she's a statue of some sort.

She's so far from reality that she didn't even notice the arrow zooming at her, barely missing her head.

"(Y/n)!" Tommy exclaimed, running to his sister. "Huh?" She muttered, clueless.

"Nothing happened haha.." Tommy chuckled awkwardly while pulling (Y/n) away from the wall so she won't see the arrow.

"Tommy? What are you doing?" She asked, still clueless. "Nothing, haha, just.. Um.. Training. Why don't you train with me?"

"Tommy, (Y/n)'s back hurts, remember?" Technoblade reminded him. "Oh yeah—"

"No, I'm fine now. I can train with Tommy." She lied once more. Tommy excitedly pulled her in the middle and gave her a bow and arrow.

"Try to shoot at the same spot as mine!" He said. (Y/n) looks over the arrow he shot and noticed something.

"Wait.. That's where I was sitting earlier—"

"Hahaha! Why don't you shoot now.. Haha." Tommy interrupted awkwardly. Deciding not to mind it, you just pulled back the bow and got ready to shoot.

You shot the arrow, directly at the same arrow Tommy shot, destroying it. "Woah! That was so cool! Techno, did you see that?" Tommy exclaimed, walking towards the arrows.

Technoblade just stood there, his face was blank but he was definitely impressed.

"Not bad for a beginner." He said, walking towards (Y/n). "I'm not a beginner, I just stopped training with the both of you for a while." She reasoned.

The three of them trained until Technoblade was called to Wilbur's office.

As the night rolled in, (Y/n) stayed in her room, not really hungry enough to go out and eat. Besides, her back does hurt still.

It was quiet around her, only the wind rustling the leaves were to be heard. It was relaxing..

Although it only distracted her for a bit, before her back started hurting once more.

She could feel something come out from her back and it hurts so much. She wanted to scream, but she knew that it will only call the attention of her brothers. She doesn't want that.

And so, she stayed silent, praying to the Gods to relieve the pain she's feeling. After a few minutes, the pain miraculously disappeared as if nothing happened.

The only thing bothering her is the feeling of some kind of weight on her back. She looks at herself in the mirror and saw a pair of  black wings..

She stood there in shock. She have seen those same wings that night her father left. It was too familiar... Too much.

'You're like your father.'

"No.. I'm not.. I will never be like him.." She muttered.

'You already are.'

The voices taunted her. Reminding her over and over again how much she and her father are alike.

Hours had passed and she is far from falling asleep. She was sure that everyone was tucked in their beds so she went out and tried to clear her mind.

It was hard to do. The hallways were empty, emitting no sounds except her footsteps and slight creaking noices the floor provides.

They weren't enough to block out the continuous plead of the voices for blood.

She walked out to the garden and stood beside The Willow Tree. One touch and she remember when everything was fine. Her parents were there. Tommy was a ray of sunshine. Wilbur living his best life. Technoblade warming up as time passes by.

It was all so wonderful. She never thought it would change within just a blink of an eye.

She heard slight shuffling behind her but she paid it no mind.

"You hear them too.. Don't you?" A low voice asked. She turned around and saw Techno. After a long suffocating silence, she finally answered.

"No. I don't." And walked away. Technoblade grabbed her wrist to stop her from walking away any further.

"You have wings." He pointed out. (Y/n) tensed in his grip. She completely forgot that her wings are so exposed right now.

(Y/n) panicked and tried to get Technoblade's grip off of her. "Let me go.." She pleaded.

Fortunately, Technoblade let her go. And when he did, she immediately ran to her room, starting to regret leaving it in the first place.

When she got to her room, her heart was pounding in her chest. She didn't expect someone to be awake at this time.

She sighed, slowly moving her wings in front of her for her to touch. It felt awfully new to her.

As she stood there, carresing her wings, she tried to think of a way to cover it. She remembered the way her father would always wear a long cloak so she figured that she should do the same.

She looked through her closet for a cloak long enough to hide her wings. To her surprise, she saw a perfect fit.

(Y/n) relaxed her wings and wore the cloak , adjusting it a bit whenever her wings would peek. When she was satisfied, she removed the cloak and folded it neatly, placing it on her small table at the corner of her room.

She laid in her bed, wrapping her wings around her as a form of a hug and a blanket as well.

At least now, she won't feel that lonely anymore.
