"Uhm.. Sure, come in.." (Y/n) mumbled, opening the door wider. Wilbur stepped in and sat down the chair beside her desk. "What do you want to talk about?" (Y/n) asked, sitting down her bed."Are you ok?.." Her brother asks. "What do you mean? Of course everything's ok. Why wouldn't it be?" (Y/n) answered, confused. "You've been really quiet these days. I just thought something's bothering you." Wilbur said, staring at her.
She looked at the ground, then glanced at Wilbur. She notice his eyes slowly moving away from hers and started staring at something behind her.
(Y/n)'s heart dropped when she realise where Wilbur is staring. She stood up abruptly only for Wilbur to stop her. "Stay." (Y/n) shook her head, remembering what happened in her dream. Wilbur stood up and approached his sister, who's shaking.
"Wil.. Please leave-"
"No. You pushed me away then, and I was stupid enough to follow. (Y/n) please, tell me what it is that's hurting you so much." Wilbur begged. (Y/n) stared at her brother, looking at the ground. Tears escaped her eyes. "Wil.. Please.. Listen to me, and leave." She mumbled.
Wilbur looked up. "Why? Why should I listen to you?"
"Because it will be easier for the both of us." (Y/n) answered, making eye contact with her brother. "No. I know it seem easier to hide it but if you continue doing that, you will only burden yourself even more."
Wilbur wanted to smile at her, and tell her that everything will go back to how it used to be. That they'll soon wake up from this stupid dream.
They just stood there, eye contact never breaking. Until, (Y/n) broke down..
She fell on her knees as the tears she'd been trying to bury deep inside her started resurfacing.
Wilbur slowly kneels down beside her and pull her in a hug. "Let it out, (Y/n).. Let it all out." She cried in his arms, the mask finally failing to hide the pain on her face.
"Wilbur.. They're so.. Loud.." (Y/n) managed to let out in between the sobs. Wilbur was shocked to hear those words spew out his sister's mouth.
"You.. You hear them too?.." He asked, still not recovering from the shock. (Y/n) pulled away from her brother's embrace, looking up at him. "Yes.." She reluctantly answered, afraid that the events that happened in her dream would occur.
"(Y/n).. Why d—"
"Wilbur, I'm sorry.. I know, I should've told you b-but the voices.. They told me not to. I shouldn't have listened, I know. Forgive me, Wilbur—"
"(Y/n), calm down.. I'm not mad. I understand.. You don't have to apologize.." Wilbur squeezed her shoulder, in the most comforting way possible.
"Why did you even think that I'll be angry?" Wilbur questioned. (Y/n) just sat there, panicking once more. She took deep breaths in to calm herself before she started explaining.
Word for word, she started telling Wilbur about her dream. As her story came to an end, tear stains littered her cheeks, and small sobs and hiccups escaped her mouth.
"(Y/n) it's ok.. We'll all be alright, ok? Don't worry.." Wilbur pulled her in a hug, once again afraid to let go.
It was only them, 3 siblings, and their mentor.
As time pass by, they grew closer by heart.. But further away by distance..
