The army of angels had travelled many miles, still unconscious of Nick's absence.
After a while, the realization finally struck Erik.
"Tereq, where's Nick?" Erik asked as they rounded a corner into a denser part of the tunnel.
"He was here before, but I didn't see him when I summoned all the men to be fortified," Tereq answered thoughtfully.
"Damn, we can't lose him. Ruby's gonna have our heads," Erik cursed.
"We can't retreat anyway, we've gor a battle ahead of us," Tereq replied as he swayed through bones and cobwebs.
"I just hope he's safe wherever he is..." Erik prayed.

Nicholas and his father had travelled over a mile, and their feet were sore and they were thirsty and hungry. But, they had to move on because any of those couldn't be gotten in hell.
"Wait, dad! You see that light..." Nick said, pointing far ahead at a faraway flicker of blue light, "I think it's from the pearl."
"We need to get there!" Nice urged his father.
The light of the pearl was noticable, but it was flickering, which meant that Mario had tampered with it.
"Oh, no! That's about three miles from here, and I ain't going that far!" Mr. Phillips stopped to take a rest.
"Dad, please! At least, we could go half-way and take a rest, then continue."
"No, son," His dad huffed.
"Please? The earth will crumble soon. " Nick pleaded.
"Fine..." His dad obliged as they continued the journey.
After about an hour of stressful walking, they reached an old battleground, filled with corpses and splattered with dried blood, ashes and cinders.
It was a complete ramshackle— a tatterdemalion.
"I can't go further, we have to take a rest," Mr. Phillips announced, taking a seat an a large piece of rock.
"Okay, dad, we are still gonna move on, though," Nick agreed, doing the same.

Erik and his men were already close to their destination to stop Mario Mc'Vida.
The could make out the mighty glow of the pearl from about seven miles away.
The pearl was unusually extremely bright.
But, suddenly, the blue light dimmed, turning into a weaker flicker.
"I think Mario is close to getting to his plans, we have to move faster! All angels should take flight!" Erik shouted, loud enough for all the warriors to hear.
They all rose up into the air and swiftly glided through.
"Everyone, get your weapons ready, there's an army of demons guarding the place!" Tereq shouted.
They all raised their weapons high, charging at full speed towards the faraway army of demons.

I managed to post twice this week, hope you appreciate that.
I wouldn't be posting often, b'cos school's starting on Monday, but I shall try my best at least once, every one or two weeks.
B-bye!
