6: Trouble Up The Hill

It was dusk already and Nick and his family, were having dinner together at the dining table. Nick was bothered with the trouble he'd have to face but the rest of his family had no knowledge about it. Nick didn't want them to worry, so he decided to bring up a conversation. "Mom, dad, after this holiday, which school are Chloe and I going to? " Nick asked. "Oh, yeah, son. I totally forgot about that. Nick, you're now in grade seven right? And Chloe, grade three? " His mom questioned. "Yeah mom. So, which school are we going to? " Nick asked again. "Stop pestering us. You still have two months to go before school starts. So, before then, we would consider and arrange that. " Mr. Phillip assured. "Dad, I wanna go play some video games, " Nick announced after he finished his meal. "Ok bub! But do sure come back to clear the dishes! " His mom chirped. Nick went up his room to relax his mind by playing a car racing game. He sped off at the start, others following behind. He was reaching the finish line while other players were still far behind him. Suddenly, his vision began to blur then the blood writing appeared again, this time, on the TV screen. 'Give me, or die!!! ' Oh boy! Nick became extremely scared! He rushed to his safe to get the pearl. 'No!!! ' It wasn't there! "You think it will be yours forever? You are extremely wrong!!! " Nick heard him say behind him-Dr. Mario Mc'Vida!!! He slowly turned around, and saw him, brighter than ever, with fire all over him, still standing on his tub of blood with the bones and skulls afloat. "Hey! I- I'm not wrong! I- I, I'm going to get the pearl no matter what! I'll climb this hill of trouble. Fight you, till you stumble over to the endless valley of doom! Oh, yeah! You are used to that with your home but, I'll make you suffer for the lives you snatched away just for your evil plan! " Nick shouted with confidence. "Look at the pot calling the kettle black! By holding that pearl, you have killed your family and all those around you. Come on! Come get me! " Mario challenged. 'Should I follow him, or not? ' Nick asked Edrek in his mind. 'Yes! Follow him! He can't get away with the pearl! He'll destroy the world with it! ' Nick considered his opinion and decided to follow Mario. He ran after him, entering a door in the middle of his room. Inside the door was a long extremely dark lane that seemed endless. Nice kept on running and running till he broke down. He gave up and decided to run back home. But to his surprise, when he turned back, he saw Mario Mc'Vida standing gracefully on his tub of blood. Mario snapped his fingers thrice, summoning the the bloodthirsty panthers of earlier. They came hopping out from thin air. "Get him!!! " Mario ordered and the panthers raced after Nick, growling angrily. 'Don't be afraid. The panthers are just spirits he's trying to use them to scare you. Just watch what will happen. ' Edrek assured Nick. Nick just stood there, confident. Just as Edrek said, the panthers just jumped right through him, leaving him harmed not even in the slightest way. "Hmmm! You seem brave, but, that will stop very soon. " Mario laughed. Nick scrutinized him from head to toe-only if he had one. "Give me that pearl now you evil jerk! " Nick commanded. "Okay, Mr. Commander! " Mario replied sarcastically. He then disappeared, leaving Nick alone in the extreme darkness. Nick broke down and cried.

Chapter six posted today too for posting chapter five late. Guys, pls, I'm sorry for posting late. Like I said earlier, I'm still arranging everything after I finished my exams. I've just been too busy to care for my readers-I was sooooooo greedy. But pls accept my apology, I didn't mean to make you guys mad. I'm truly sorry, I apologize again. I'll try my best not to do this again.
