Sin

Sin wasn't a patient person by nature.  All day she'd waited for North to haul his ass out of bed.  Sure there were customers to deal with and keep her busy.  Didn't mean she wasn't fully aware that he could walk in at anytime.  Thankfully Boomer had been kept busy all day back at the clubhouse.  Sin wanted to talk to North before the big man got to meet him.

Just as Marvin and Moss were about to leave they heard the water running above.  Probably the shower which meant she had time to finish up the client she was currently working on.

"We'll lock the door on the way out.  Next client isn't set till 7:30 for you and North can take any walk in's.  Ive already posted that we'll be going back to regular hours as of tomorrow and walk in's only on Saturday nights" Marvin informed her as Moss stood waiting.

"Sounds good.  I'm sure Boomer will be here soon after the meeting finishes.  I'll be fine till then.  North isn't a lightweight and Tweaker is out back" she answered more for Moss as the man had been twitchy about the leaving her without more club protection.

"Call if you need us.  Waldo's phone" Moss ordered giving her a no bullshit look before they headed out.

Getting back to her client they were chatting about Brinn's wall art when the women went silent.  It happenned sometimes with the ladies, when they'd sat to their limit.  Luckily they were just about done and she asured the women as she finished the last bit of shading.

"No rush. Found something better to look at" the young women quietly chuckled  and taking a peak Sin realized North had come down.  Standing in the door way to the shop she couldn't fault the women.  North was a good looking man.  But the sight of him no longer made her lady bits warm up.  Which given her status was a good thing.

"That's North our newest artist.  He'll be here taking walkin's on saturday night if any of your friends may be interested" Sin offered plugging for new business even if it was slightly pimping North out.  "And there we are, all done" she anounced a minute later as she wiped down the tattoo to clean away the extra ink and blood before adding a light layer of moisture cream.

"Oh I love it" the girl cheered getting up to check it out in the mirror before getting North's thoughts on it.

"Looks great gorgeous.  How about I wrap it while Sin cashes you out" he offered already washing his hands before reaching for a set of gloves.  Going with it Sin stretched out her cramped muscles and headed to the front.  Marvin had already prepared the bill of service so she was left waiting for them. Ten minutes later she was glad to see the ass end of the client.  No she wasn't jelous.  The women had turned into a giggling tart under North's attention.

Locking the door behind her North then turned to her grinning like a fool.  Shit head had got the women going on purpose clearly recalling how short her tollerance was for that crap.  It was hard to get mad at this man though as he was his next move had her eyes tearing up.

Coming to stand right in front of her the smile was gone as he pulled her in.  Hand cradling the back of her head as he held her tight in his arms.  Head resting in the crook of his neck tears pricked her eye.  The feeling of security she felt in his arms bringing back a few memories.  This man had helped piece her back together and she'd missed him.  Not romantically but because she'd always known where they stood.

"Hey now no tears.  We got ya little one.  You got a whole club behind you.  We'll all see you through this lass." North murmered in her ear using the endearment that always amused her as she was far from little.  But his word brought the comfort she desperately need right now.

"My dad wants me dead" she finally voiced her throat tight as she also absorbed it.  Sure Crispy had lost her when he'd chosen the club over her but it still hurt.  The man who'd raised her, been her daddy wanted her dead.

"Tell me about your new man" North changed the subject knowing there wasn't alot to be said that could make that shit better.  Pulling away Sin tried for a smile but it was a pitiful attempt.

"He keeps the nightmares away and accepts me for who I am" Sin answered honestly then told him what Boomer had offered to make their relationship work.  "He wants all of me and I'm not sure I can give him that.  Boomer has his own demons though he hides them well.  I'm not sure I can be what he needs." she finally admitted to herself as the words came out.  "What if I let him in....if it ended.....that would break me for good.  I can't be tossed away again" she added figuring if she was going let it out it may as well be the full of it.

"From what I've been told the man changed when you came into the picture.  Got a soft spot for the bairns and lasses in the club.  Stayed by yer side when you got hurt.  Which by the way I was not happy to hear about from someone elses telling." he offered his face serious and his gaze grave.  This wasn't a side of North she'd seen before.  He also had given away that he had someone close who'd given these details.
"Let the man in.  If he hurts you I'll kill him" he then stated making Sin realize how little she knew about her friend.  Like Boomer the man wasn't really a talker and giver of the personal.

"Let's get pizza and drop this for now.  I dont think either of us is ready for the conversation that this could turn into" she acknowledged already reaching for her phone to order pizza.  And like a switch she watched North's face relax.  "But you will be telling me soon what your keeping hidden" she stated and North just smiled and nodded.

Boomer

Sin was just cleaning up what was left of the pizza when he entered through the back.  He's let Tweaker head home knowing Holiday would soon be showing up for night watch.

"Hey" Sin greeted with a smile that warmed his insides.

"Babe" he greeted back but pulled her up into a kiss meant to curl her toes and shake her up.  Too many uneasy thoughts circled in his head as he claimed her.  She was his.  Boomer just had to make her fully see that.

The sound of a throat clearing mock cough had him releasing Sin's lips but not stepping away.  When Sin turned to where a man stood in the doorway Boomer snaked an arm around her waist.  His hand splayed across her toned stomach.

"Boomer this is North.  Play nice guys" she introduced and warned as Boomer was eyed up and he did his own stare down.  When the man nodded acknowledging Boomer's claim he let himself relax.  A knock on the front glass door had Sin cursing.

"That's my next client" she excused slipping out of Boomers hold and past North who only stepped aside enough for her to pass.  By the look on the mans face Boomer realized a talk was coming.  Which was fine with him as he had a few questions of his own.

"There's my sexy artist" drifted through the hall from the front and had North's expression changing. The voice belonged to Reaper but the new guy didn't know that.  Or that the man just made it a habit complimenting the old lady's.

"Dude, he's harmless.  Otherwise he'd be dead already" Boomer offered but wasn't surprised when the man spun around and headed to check it out himself.

Note:

Thank you to all who have stuck with me through the telling of these three stories.  As per request I will try and make Sin's a little longer than the others.  Tie up a couple loose ends so we can go into the next three clean slate on the danger.

I'm not set on these guys disliking each other.  I will warn that from this point on I have zero idea how it will all lay out.  I'm winging this ending.  Letting it unfold as I write.  Only scene I have in my head is the stranger danger coming for Sin.  I also know that there will be a dedicated chapter for Ella and Kaiah on the apartment thing.

Do you all want a dedicated chapter to what goes down in New Orleans?
