Lia
She hadn't meant to come so close into contact with Sin that day at the lunch. A key part of watching was not being seen by the person you watched. That's all she had been doing the morning long while people entered and exited the tattoo shop. Its how Lia came to first see the older man who had passed by several times. Once on foot and once in an old station wagon.
Following Sin and a hansome devil to the diner she'd been set to remain outside. Until she'd seen the station wagon pull in only moments after the pair arrived. Now twice had just been odd but three times in a day was suspicious as fuck. Lia had only broken cover when she saw the man headed in Sin's direction and the women came out. Loaded over with bags of food she'd have been an easy target so Lia stepped into the mans path.
He'd hid it well but she'd caught the glint off the knife he'd held then quickly hid again. Was a bold move attemping such a public hit and well before her deadline was done. So entering the diner she'd made like she forgot her wallet and exited quick enough to follow the man. It was clear as he made a call that he wasnt happy missing the oportunity before. She made her own call to Gideon when she followed him to meet a young women at a nearby park.
"Miss me already cousin" he answered all cheeky
"I need pictures of all the women surround and within the club" Lia ordered her voice hard as she'd just watched a gun handed to the women.
"I can't exactly go around and take pictures of all the women without questions being asked" he ground out then went silent a moment. "We have open bar tonight at the club tonight. Oliver wont show till close to ten so come early. All the women will be here" he offered the solution.
Even if it had meant coming face to face with her brother it would have been worth it. Something kept telling her that it would happen fast and the women was connected to the club in some way. Question was who and how they'd missed a threat that big during background check.
Now watching and waiting were two very different matters in her book. So to kill time she'd gone back to watching the shop. Lia had seen the enforcers arrival and thanks to Gideon knew the connection to Sin. Even better the man had gotten the women to finally see reason and into an enclosed truck. Riding in on a bike had been a poor choice in her opinion given the hit on her.
Returning to her motel room Lia had gotten ready for the evenning then watched tv to kill time. Finally when eight hit she'd driven over and was met by Gideon himself at the gate.
"Sin had a panic attack earlier. She's been upstair with the clubs cleaning lady. Don't freak out she's family somehow. I'll explain that bit later. The club sweet butts and even the nanny are in the clubhouse. It was her day off and is sweet on one of the prospects. He convinced her to come party on her night off" he reported leading her to the clubhouse.
Following the place was already packed with scantilly dressed women and a fare number of bikers. Some members but also an number of clingers. What stopped her in her tracks was recognizing the bald man in the croud.
"We got our first issue. See the potbelly bald guy over near the pool table. He's invovled. Hold up" she was forced to grab Gideons arm as he went to charge at the man "If she's here it could force her hand early if she sees him being beaten then dragged out" she warned and thankfully he listenned.
"Suggestions then love" he ground out
"Ya get someone to talk him up and get that person to get him outside. Use whatever excuse while I check on the women" she cut back glaring up at him. See it was part of the problem she has with the men of her family. All hot headed and thick as rock in the head too. The fact he'd asked for her suggestion was a freakin surprise as is.
"On it" was all he said before turning to go talk to two men situated near the bar. While she wouldn't mind standing there gazing apon the eye candy they both were Lia had a task. Find the evil bitch.
North
Boomer had called a bit ago and told him what had happened. After a talk with Moss and a clear schedual they's closed up early. He wanted to see for himself that Sin was okay as he'd never seen her as he had that afternoon.
Going into what Moss called the old clubhouse he'd walked into see a pretty little red head with a babe at her breast. Now some men would have been off step at the sight but not a Mulligan. In his large clan of a family it was a common thing.
"He's a handsome little lad" North offered as greeting and was gifted with a smile from the momma. "Im the new artist at the shop, North" he introduced and in return she offered her only free hand in an awkward shake "Liz" said back.
Asking where Sin's room might be Liz's brow scrunched before she finally gave him directions to the second floor. "She was still sleeping when I checked on my way down. Ella's sitting with her" she then told but didn't stop him as he headed up. What did stop him was the sound of Sin's voice when he reach the door. Or rather it was her words that stopped him.
Gideon had told him a little about the lass Ella and the call he'd made to the family. Somehow the lass had got Sin talking which was a feat unto its own. The women hid her emotions to well but now seemed to be confessing all. Truth what he now heard broke his heart as she talked about her father and the injury she'd suffered. If Boomer set her aside because of it North vowed he'd go to hell and set the man six feet under for it.
Listening to the irish women's advice North couldn't help smile. If she be family he'd be proud to have her. But knowing his time was running short North headed back down and found Boomer waiting holding a little lassy.
"She still sleeping?" he questioned not even bothering to look up.
"No, but don't go rushing up. She's unloading her burden on the lass upstair. Heard them say they'd be over to the bar in a bit" he advised when Boomer went to get up and as another apears and leaned down to kiss Liz. Introductions were quickly made and the little lass handed to her father.
"Lets go so she doesn't think we're hovering" Boomer barked before leading the way out and to the other newer looking building. About to enter they had to wait as a couple brothers came out.
"Boomer man come show Elliot here your bike. His daddy owned a shop so he may know whats wrong with yours." the man he recognized as Reaper explained to Boomer voice light but the hidden look he shot out was not. "North, Gideon was looking for you inside for something" Reaper then offered sealing the deal that something was indeed going on.
"Catch up with you later man" North kept it light slapping the big man on the sholder to distract that he was lifting his gun on the pass by. Boomers head nod back told him to go. But what he'd find North would have never expected.
Boomer
He wasn't sure what the fuck was going on but he'd never seen that look on Reaper's face before. The man was fucking mad and this Elliot asshole seemed to be part of it. Following Reaper's lead they headed for the garage which he knew for a fact didn't have a single bike inside.
As soon as the door closed Reaper and Chester had the man pinned. Took only one punch to stop the mans resistance to being held down.
"Want to explain now?" Boomer growled out as Chester bound the mans hands and feet together.
"Nope. We need him breathing and talking." Reaper's answer pissed him off as there could only be one reason telling him the why would threaten the man on the ground. It had something to do with Sin.
"North and Irish are gonna need your help in the bar. This shitheads only part of it" Reaper used as a distraction when Boomer lurched towards the unconsious man on the ground. It worked."String him up in here for now." Boomer ordered already heading for the door. If this invovled Sin she was about to walk in on whatever was about to happen in the clubhouse bar. He planned to fucking have it taken care of before she got there. Unfortunatly he was too late.
