Sin

It took five days before Marvin was in any kind of shape to travel.  Crispy had fuckin beat the shit out of the man.  With buised or craked ribbs the ride would have been torture.  With time on her hands Sin had broused the online auto sales in the area.  On day she'd found a great used car with low milage she knew Tweaker could flip easy once they got home.

On day six Marvin had insisted he was good enough to travel.  So loading up on the not so legal pain meds they set out.  For the first couple days she took it easy cutting their hours of travel.  Having taken a beating and busted a couple ribs she knew the man was in pain but trying to hide it.

While they'd travled she'd kept in touch with Ripper.  She's also answered Marvin's million and one questions in regards to the clue.

"Babe, as long as long as you don't try hit on any of the brother's you'll be fine.  This clue is more progressive but they are all still bikers" she'd asured and warned as she took the turn of the interstate for Cleaton on day 11.

"Cute vibes" Marvin murmered nervous as they rolled through town.  Taking a little detour past the bars and Ink shop "maybe i can help by covering for Liz when the baby comes" he offered and his gentle consideration made Sin smile.  For a biker Marvin was a marshmello even if he didn't look it.

"Home sweet home" Sin anounced pulling up to the gate where a new prospect stood watch.  Giving her name the kid checked the list someone had given him then smilled and openned the gate.

"Wow" was all that came out of Marvin as he took in the combound.

Sin could understand what her friend was feeling.  Compared to New Orlean's this place was huge.  Pointing out the new clubhouse then a a half dozen storage sheds.  Wolves'd garage with its four large bay doors all open to the old clubhouse which the club had converted out of an old elementary school.  All of which had also recently got a face lift.

Watching Mavins face fall a little looking at the row of bikes it hit her that they'd had to leave his behind.

"We can can talk to Holiday and Tweaker about getting you a new or rebuild" she asured and saw the light reenter the mans eyes.  They hadn't talked about it but over the last 11 days Marvin hadn't gone a single night without nightmares.  Facing death would do that so she'd left it be.  Still Sin made a mental note to quietly talk to Doc about it.  "Let's intro you first to the exec then we can over and get you a room" she offered unfolding herself out of the car as Holiday came strolling up.

Watching she watched her brother go first to Marv and after a few quiet words her brother ruffled the mans hair.  Then he cracked a shit eating grin and came to lift her into a hug.  Holding tight a minute longer than was normal his eyes were questioning when they pulled apart.

"I'm good promise" she answered then handed her the keys.  "Low millage and full service records in the glove compartment.  Figured she'd be a good flipper for you and Tweak" she stated then motioned Marv to follow her in.

"I think Liz is now calling this home base.  But basically it's breakfast and dinner dining with exec living above" Sin explained as they entered what was more dining hall than bar.

As if waiting for them Ripper, Switch and Boomer stood and came over and Sin made introductions.  Even after 11 days Marv still looked rough and she saw her friends look him over.

"Welcome to South Carolina Marvin we're glad to have you.  You'll be working with Crypt mostly because of your skill set.  The mans exciting to have someone else who knows that shit" Ripper greeting shaking Marv's hand.

She's felt his eyes on her the whole time but Boomer surprised her when he pulled her into a side hug.  Kissing the top of her head he then offered a hand in greeting to Marv.  "We don't stand for that bigot shit here.  You'll be safe here.  Have any issues you find Switch or Me.  We'll squash that shit flat"  Boomer stated then shot out a whistle that had Waldo apearing out of where ever the kid had been.  "Take our new brother over and show him to his new digs" Boomer instructed then handed over two sets of keys.

"One's your room key.  The other your new bike.  A welcome gift from the club.  Waldo will pointed it out of the way over" Ripper explained and seeing Marv's emotional struggle Sin could have kissed all three men for the kindness.  It had taken her some adjustment time to get use to it and Marv would need that too.

"Go, I'll see you at dinner" she murmered giving his back an asuring rub before he followed the prospect out and she was left facing the three men.  "Thank you for.."she started but choked up as the situation finally caught up with her.

"Babe you did good.  No thanks needed" Ripper assured pulling her into a hug that had her barely holding back tears. "Later we'll need to talk okay but for now go get settled back in.  The girls will be happy to have you home" Ripper then stated giving her a nudge towards the stairs and Sin took the out he was offering

Only when she hit her room and in the shower did she let the tears come.
