Sin
Eating breakfast with Boomer she told him about her early day while he held little Em. Claire had taken a personal day and Liz had been attemping to feed both children at the same time. Without even a though Boomer had plicked the little girl from her seat and now shared her mans breakfast.
Her man Sin mused as she thought about her talk with North the day before. He'd want children which did concern her a little. Even if she could have children Sin wsn't sure she wanted to be a mom. She'd never had one herself growing up and didn't know the first thing about it. Then there was still the fresh horror of watching Liz bring little Angus into the world.
"Liz I thought your mom was coming to visit a couple days ago" she questioned as her friend burped the little man on her sholder.
Both Boomer and Liz seemed to freeze before they shared a look that had Sin's spidy senses tingling. She knew the club wasn't telling her everything. Truth she really didn't want to know what was going to happen back home. There was also a tension in the air that hadn't been there yesterday. She knew the club had been brought up to speed last night but it was more than that. Sin had lived to long in this lifestyle to not tell the difference.
"Oh she'll be here in a day or two with my dad. They got held up by club business" Liz simply answered but left it at that. When Sin looked over at Boomer he met her gaze but it told her nothing.
"Okay. I'll be home to help with dinner tonight. Shoot me a text if I need to pick anything up on the way home" she explained then stood up motioning for Boomer to stay seated. "I'll get Mase to run me over with Goon" she explained leaning down to kiss him before heading out giving the guys a whisptle to get them moving.
It may have not been smart but Sin decided to ride her bike into work. With so much out of her control she needed too. Well worth the lecture she recieved first from Moss ,then North when the old bastard tattled on her. Also worth the escort at lunch when she'd ran over to the dinner to pick up their order.
It was in the moment she stepped out of the diner that she felt it. The goose bump tiny hair raise feeling you got by being watched. Looking around Sin saw nothing out of the ordinary. Her attention elsewhere she didn't see the women til they almost crashed into each other. Only reason it was avoided was the other women got out of the way quick.
"Shit sorry" came out of Sin as she tried not to lose the bags of food she held.
"No harm done" the women assured continuing to walk but Sin caught the slight irish undertone and stopped barely in time to catch a look at the women. They'd never met before but her eyes looked so familier.
"You good?" Mase questioned from a couple feet away drawing her attention.
"Ya can you take one of these?" she answered but the uneasy feeling returned as they walked back to the shop. Keeping it to herself Sin barely touched the food she'd been craving all morning. That didn't go unnoticed but the guys thankfully left it be.
Seeing two more clients before she was finally done Sin tried to lose herself in it till Boomer suddenly apeared. Realizing she zoned out only when his hand gently brushed over her hair to stop and rest on her cheek. Looking up she saw his worried look and the moment he hid it for her. Realizing she'd let him seeing her uneasy and worry in her own ungaurded eyes.
"Let's go home babe" he simply murmered running his hand from her sholder and arm till it wrapped around her hand. Sin let Boomer lead as he pulled her up and head for the back. When they passed Moss and North both men simply nodded to Boomer.
