Perky's Help

Reaper

    Knuckles sore and slightly split he pulled on gloves before heading over to the new place to meet Perky.  While the others had bigger things to deal with he'd played his part but kept his head on his own task.  Now that Sin was safe he needed to ensure two more were kept safe too.

  Meeting with an agent two days ago he'd been shown the property they'd known of but also two others.  The prettty blond agent had been more than happy to show him through the propertys.  While she'd offered him other perks of service he's decline though Crow certainly seemed to have enjoyed them.

  In the end it wasn't the origional property they settled with.  One block closer to the compound they'd found a three unit building that was in better shape.  It would need a little updating but not near as much as the two unit place.  Reaper had also seen another opportunity in the house next to the building.

   The small ranch house next door was home to Mrs. Colleen a seventy years old who had lost her husband last year.  Good old Chester had held that information and offered it.  The house would be perfect for a certain club enforcer who had once told him about the home he wanted to give Sin.  Reaper was set on helping the big man make that a reality.

   Talking it over with Ripper first the prez had been amused and agreed to front the money if needed for noth properties.  Next had been Mrs Colleen.  Showing her through the ground level until Reaper had explained the changes they make.  Adding in the perks that the club would look after the lawn and property maintenance.

  Mrs Colleen had made him sweat a bit before agreeing to sell them her house in exchange for low rent on the unit.  She also insisted the back yard be redone so she could transfer some of her gardens.  With that now set it was time to hook Kaiah and Ella into the place.

  He'd seen both women at the old clubhouse at breakfast and thrust the newspaper listing in front of them.  Over his pancakes and bacon he'd watch the women looking and discussing the listing.  They's taken the bate but the funniest park was his realization that the women knew each other.  It click before he'd been called away.  Ella was how Kaiah kept getting into Holidays room as she was the only other key holder.

   "Hey handsom, fill me in.  I played the it so far as we discussed.  This being a side income for me.  Freshly bought and that I loved the idea of having all women. Men being pigs and all" Perky chirped with a chuckled as Reaper unlocked the second level doors. 

  Both units were one bedroom units except one held stairs leading up to the bedroom on the third floor.  Walking through both Reaper was happy to see Chester and a couple guys had already ripped out all the carpet.  Kitchens and bathrooms had also been gutted.

  "Just explain that each unit will have fully renovated kitchen and baths.  New floors and wall color of their choice if they don't want the light grey thats planned.  Ella's unit it the one with the third floor and it'll be furnished while Kaiah's comes unfurnished.  Liz will be on finding the furnishings in the next week or two.  Move in at the end of the month." he finally answered then checked his phone for the time. Last thing he needed was for the lady's to catch him here.

  "It's a good thing your doing here.  The way you treat all the club women weather they be old lady or sweet butt.  My girls talk Reaper." Perky stated but kept going through the units herself knowing he wouldn't want to respond.  He was a little surprised the women talked about him though. 

  "I better go.  Dont want to get caught.  Leave the keys with Mrs. Colleen next door and let me know how it goes.  Remember only $330 a unit" he called out as Perky was up on the third level now.

  "Okay hun, I'll call ya in a bit.  The views are amazing from up here" Perky answered but Reaper was already heading out and down to ground level.  His timing amazing as he passed Kaiah's car one block over which held both women.  Reaper was also glad to see Tweaker trailing behind on his bike.

Ella

    Over breakfast the shaggy haired biker Reaper had placed a apartment listing in front of Kaiah who'd been seated beside her.  With everything the way it was the last thing Ella should be doing was making big decisions.  But seeing the listing price she couldn't pass up going to see it.  At that price she had enough saved to put down first and last plus have a nice savings to stash away.

   It was also a good excuse to avoid North who insisted she call him Oliver.  With two many questions and zero answers it was just too much right now.  Last night she'd told Oliver and Lia about her mother and their life back in Ireland.  How mamma had been eighteen when Ella was born.  How her aunt and grandparents had came over soon after leaving momma to go it alone. 

   Even if she was a sibling or cousin did she really want to know the man who'd left her momma to raise Ella alone?  So instead of thinking on it she'd agreed to go see the apartments with Kaiah who had been so kind to her since last night.  Needing a change of clothes they'd stopped at her place only to find no one home.  A blessing as she'd have been embarrassed to be yelled at in front of her new friend.

  "The outside doesn't look to bad and the area is a definate improvement to where I am now" Kaiah voiced as they pulled into the large driveway.  Ella just hummed in agreement as she stepped out only to stop as a women came from the back.

  Everything about the women screamed biker chick from her jeans to her metal band tank.  Somewhere in her fourties Ella thought she was still a stunning women though a little age showed.

  "Hey Lady's come on back.  Now like I said on the phone the apartments are under renovation.  But dont you worry none as they both look amazing when I'm done with them."  the women Kaiah saids name was Perky chattered on as she lead the way back to a double porch with stairs leading up to the second level.  Following both women Ella already liked the place.

   "It's Ella right" Perky questioned when they came to two doors.  Nodding Ella was directed to the door to the right while Kaiah the door to the left.  Going in Ella entered a small but descent sized livingroom that flowed into a gutted kitchen with the lou to the back.  All small but good enough for just her size wise.  But it was when she saw the bedroom that Ella was sold on the apartment.  Up a set of stairs off the living room it was and with tones of windows that let a person see clear across town.

  "Oh wow" Kaiah's voice interupted her and Ella couldn't hold in the girlish giggle that bubbled out.  "I take it we're going to be neighbours then" Kaiah chuckled out smiling at Ella's reaction.

"Oh yes" was all she could answer before she headed back down to find Perky who held out applications and a pen.  Filling it all out she hesitated at the part that asked for a personal referance.  She couldn't use her aunt or uncle and didn't really know anyone else well enough to put them down.

  "Oh hun rumor in town is that you clean for the MC and a couple respected businesses.  Just put Lizbeth or Brinn down.  I know how to reach them to get a referance.  Niether will mind" Perky offered a solution clearing seeing she was stuck.  But the referance to the club had Kaiah's head shooting up from her own application.

   "What's your connection to the MC" Kaiah questioned face now devoid of any emotion as she stared at the women.  Perky hesitated which had Ella's own suspisions raising.

  "My old man was a member before he died.  Now they are 50/50 business partners of my strip club, Perky's" the women finally answered and Ella felt the honesty in her words. 

  "Kaiah leave it be" Ella whispered the warning not wanting to lose this place because of reasons she did not understand.
"We'll both have our deposits dropped to your business by this evenning if that is okay" Ella offered and directing the subject back to business.

  "That would be great" Perky answered but the tone was changed.  Another thing Ella didn't need to worry about for now.  Just look ahead girl her mum would always say.  And ahead was a new apartment with work for herself and breaking paths with her Aunt.  That's all she had the energy to face today.
