Lonely, the server was oh so lonely without the admin around. Their connection severed by thick obsidian walls and pain. Why did they lock their admin away, yet the others get off scot-free? They'd all done wrong, yet their admin was chosen as the scapegoat. Why did they play the victim? They started this, so they would make it right!
The server had had enough, using all of its powers it expelled the parasite and freed the demon. Coaxing them towards the prison and watched it unfold.
- Dream's POV- Juniper Vale, Everything in colour-
-First day out of prison-
The day Dream felt grass underfoot and the breeze in his face, he cried. At first, he couldn't believe it, he thought Quackity had finally ended him and he was now a ghost. Pinching himself, he was proven wrong and this only caused more tears. Why would they release him, show him the outside world only to take it away from him? That was what he learnt in prison, no matter how hard you clung to something it could be taken. There was no point to hang on, he knew this before, but Quackity thoroughly engraved it into his mind.
He spent an entire week in the SMP and watched everyone scream over each other as they decided his fate. The prison is a better place than this, however, Bad was by his side throughout the meetings which touched him in a way he long forgot. In the end, he was put in exile, never to return unless he proves himself. Why would he want to prove himself when all these people do is take? Why please them when they don't want him back?
-A week out of prison-
Dream stood inside of a large birch cottage with no clue what to do with his newfound freedom. It had been a few days since his release and the passive mobs had been acting strange. Wild animals swarmed the outside of the cottage, a random herd of sheep and a cow (he named her Bessie, but he'd never admit to it if anyone asked). Every day he'd go outside and tend to the crops, the sheep would follow him like ducklings. Expecting food only to receive none, still, they followed him around. The strangest behaviour he'd experienced was with a pig he later called Truffles.
-Two weeks out of prison-
Dream couldn't stand potatoes. He'd eat anything but potatoes. Those horrid pale brown vegetables filled with poison promised a slow end. Dream hated them. He'd have a panic attack from just a whiff of the vegetable. So Technoblade beware!
Dream stared at the soup in front of him, large chunks of mushrooms and beef were floating around. Tapping his wooden spoon against the rim of his bowl, foot-tapping to the consistent beat. Cut up bread sat at the centre of the table, ignored and untouched. Dream left the table and went to bed without dinner. The image of potato chunks floating around in his stew taking away his appetite.
The next morning Dream awoke to the sound of snuffling and a pig digging up his vege garden. Bad had supplied the land, cottage and crops. To say Dream was pissed was an understatement, he was furious. Those crops were about ready to harvest and that pig was ruining them! He chased the creature around, swinging his hoe around. Swears and threats spilt from his lips while the sheep watched, if they could speak they'd be questioning his logic. A fence was sprung around the garden, lanterns hung to keep mobs from spawning within it. Two days later, Dream found the pig inside of the fence at his vege's again. How he got over the fence, Dream had no clue but he could see their little hooves messing up the neatly tilled ground. Snout down and searching for food.
Goddammit! Stone hoe in hand, Dream opened the gate and chased the pig-out. What puzzled him later was why the pig didn't eat the carrots or wheat. Concluding the pig was searching for a particular vege. How'd he even jump the fence? This became a repetitive question Dream asked himself every morning he found the pig in his vege garden.
