-Warning! Mentioning animal abuse! Other than that, I'm not sure if there is anything else I should warn you about (I forgot to do this last chapter, so sorry). -

An agreement was reached between the two parties much to Dream's dismay. Foolish was dressed in the standard guard uniform allowing him to enter without question.

The ocean god spent most of his week in the prison or at Las Nevadas tinkering with different structures. Foolish did sneak in fish when he found out the diet Sam set Dream. Dream appreciated the extra food, Sam on the other hand not so much. However, he quickly gave up after two weeks of bickering.

Slipping into the room as the door clicked open. Foolish carried the bucket carefully to avoid spilling its contents onto the floor. Hope trotted beside him, begging for the fish.

"Sorry Hope, but this isn't for you." Bopping Hope upon the nose Foolish continued his pace towards the tank.

Placing bucket down, Foolish slipped into the water.

"Dream! I brought extra fish!!"

"Go away!" Two emerald green eyes popped up from nowhere. Glaring into Foolish's soul.

"Come on Dream, it's your favourite! Salmon!!"

Not taking the bait, Dream's scowl darkened. "You mean your favourite." Lime green bobbed back under.

Scolding the cat before ducking under after him. After thirty minutes of chasing Dream around Foolish was finally able to commence the check-up.

"How are your gills feeling?" Carefully Foolish lifted the delicate organ to check for any leftover damage. Outside of the prison, Foolish had made it a goal of his to blatantly ignore Tommy's existence. The gremlin wasn't too happy about being ignored.

"They're fine I guess. I don't smell burnt fish anymore." Dream shrugged as he continued to twiddle his thumbs. "Foolish, why do you care?"

Pausing his movement, Foolish watched the back of Dream carefully. "I'm the God of the Ocean, all aquatic life is under my protection." A sharp tug from Dream prompted Foolish to continue. "You're an aquatic hybrid, I care because it's part of my job. And because it's not in my nature to hate someone without hearing their side of the story."
