The Dazzlings then sang in response,

The Dazzlings then showed their siren forms, trying to destroy my friends with their musical enchantments. The Rainbooms kept defending themselves from the sirens' musical magic, but it wasn't enough. The Dazzlings' siren magic was so strong, it overpowered Twilight and The Rainbooms, and Twilight dropped her microphone! I managed to catch the mic. Pinkie's drum played, and I hesitated. Twilight looked desperately at me and said, "Garrett; we need you!" I looked in the distance, and I saw the spirit of my sister, Sunset. She looked at me, smiled, and nodded. It was as if my sister was telling me, "you can do this, Garrett." I smiled, stood confidently in the center and started singing...

You're never gonna bring me down!
You're never gonna break this part of me!
My friends are here to bring me 'round
Not singing just for popularity
We're here to let you know...

And that's when Twilight and The Rainbooms joined me in singing,

That we won't let it go!
Our music is a bomb and it's about to blow
And you can try to fight
But we have got the light of Friendship on our side!

And together, we will never be afraid of the dark
Here to sing our song out loud
Get you dancing with the crowd
As the music of our friendship survives, survives!

As we sang together in harmony, I could feel the magic inside me combining with the magic of Princess Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rarity. All of our musical magic of friendship combined together, breaking the spell of the sirens, positively affecting the entire crowd who was singing along with us! All of our musical magic then combined to create a giant alicorn! We then finished singing together,

Got the music in our hearts
We're here to blow this thing apart
And together, we will never be afraid of the dark
Here to sing our song out loud
Get you dancing with the crowd
That's the music of our friendship survives, survives, survives!

With our combined magic, the giant alicorn blasted a massive wave, striking Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, and Sonata Dusk, breaking the siren spell on everyone and destroying their pendants! The Dazzlings gave a look of embarrassment as they picked up their shattered pendants. They then attempted to sing again in vain. But they were off key, off tune. So their singing was about as awful as a dying donkey. Their Siren spell couldn't work on anyone anymore. The Dazzlings were officially defeated. Once they were booed off stage, we wandered up and I picked up one of the shattered remaining pendants. I looked at it and said, "no wonder those three were so darn attached to these pendants. It was their source of power." I could then see my sister's spirit again as she smiled and nodded, clearly proud of me. Before I could even acknowledge her presence, she was gone, just like that. "Garrett, you were amazing!" Twilight commended as she hugged me. "Yeah, you were awesome man!" Rainbow Dash said proudly, "I know that eventually you'll have to go home, but you will always be an honorary member of the Rainbooms!" The others smiled at me proudly. "Thanks girls." I said, "I couldn't have done it without you all. The magic of friendship, it just felt great!" I looked at Fluttershy and motioned her to Rainbow Dash, it was my silent way of telling her to seize her moment. Fluttershy nodded, because she knew that I knew about her feelings for Rainbow Dash. Fluttershy then kissed Rainbow Dash on the lips. The kiss surprised Rainbow, but eventually she melted into the kiss and embraced Fluttershy. The girls smiled, happy to know that Fluttershy had finally admitted her feelings to Rainbow Dash in a non-verbal manner. Twilight smiled and said, "well it's about time."

"Speaking of time..." I said, "I think it's time I owe you for that kiss you gave me." Twilight blushed and asked, "I just have to wonder... do you like me? As more than a friend, Garrett?" I held Twilight's hand and said, "Twilight... ever since we first met, you've always made me feel welcome. You've helped me come to grips with my personal grief and have helped me through the darkness. I don't know where I would have been without you. You make me want to be a better stallion. I like you as more than a friend, Princess Twilight. In fact, I love you." Twilight teared up and said, "I love you too, Garrett Shimmer. I just hope we can be together." I smiled and replied, "if we can stop Sirens, nothing is impossible." We romantically embraced each other and then I kissed Twilight on the lips. She kissed me back while holding me. The sensation felt amazing. We then heard the audience say, "encore! Encore! Encore! Encore!" Applejack smirked and said "how about we give 'em an encore y'all? Hey Garrett, ya think you and Twilight can sing a romantic duet?"
