Going Home

After the concert was finished, Twilight and I decided to join the girls in another slumber party at Pinkie's house. We basically saved the school and we felt we earned the right to celebrate. So we partied and had fun. We chatted, had pizza and treats, played video games, and had all sorts of fun, this time without the stress of having to create another counterspell. And I started opening up to the girls, telling them about myself, my family, and my friends Billy, Mero, and Capper. They were glad to know that Billy and Mero were doing well in Equestria. I was honestly happy to befriend these girls. When we slept through the night, Twilight and I cuddled up together while sleeping, and Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash also cuddled up as well while sleeping. I think Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash are so cute together.

Soon nighttime turned into the morning and it was time to go back to Equestria. We stopped at Sugarcube Corner to get some breakfast. After eating breakfast, we were then outside the school. I had the bag that contained Sunset's possessions with me. "Well, I guess this is the part where we say goodbye," said Rainbow Dash. "Thank you for both for helping us," said Rarity. "Don't worry girls," said Twilight, "thanks to the machine that I created, now Garrett and I can visit here anytime we want. Try not to think of this as goodbye forever. Just think of this as goodbye until we meet again." Pinkie hugged us both and said, "we can't wait until you both come back again!" Twilight smiled and said "we'll look forward to seeing you again." Applejack then said, "you two take care now, ya hear? Stay gold, Garrett." I got out Sunset's magical journal and gave it to Fluttershy. I said, "here Fluttershy. I want you to have this." Fluttershy held the journal and asked, "your sister's journal?" I nodded and said, "yeah. There are a few pages left in the journal. If you or the girls ever want to reach out to me or Twilight, you and the girls can use this journal." Fluttershy beamed and said, "thank you so much, Garrett." Twilight took my hand and asked, "are you ready?" I nodded and said, "yeah I'm ready." Twilight looked at the girls and said, "goodbye everyone! See you around!" Twilight and I then went into the portal, leaving the human world. About a minute later, we were back in Equestria. I was back in my unicorn form and Twilight was back in her Alicorn form. I also had the bag that contained Sunset's possessions. We got back up, smiling at each other. "How did you enjoy your trip?" Twilight asked. "The experience was a lot better than I thought it would be." I said, "it was interesting, being human for that long. And it was also very therapeutic." Twilight smiled and said, "good. Are you glad to be back home?" I nodded and replied, "yeah. And I'm glad we can be together like Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. I love you, Twilight Sparkle." Twilight nuzzled me and then kissed me on the lips, and replied, "I love you too, Garrett Shimmer."
