Oliver saw Ryan kissing me. Not the other way around. What do I even do? I'll just text him back.

“Me: No, uh, he kissed me. I was trying to get somewhere, then he showed up, and mauled my face. I did NOT kiss him. Where’d you see us at? That hall was empty.”

Ryan was probably with Oliver in the bathroom catching a feel with him. A few seconds later I got a text from, well, Ryan. How did he even get my number?  Wait, he did find my phone. He must have put his number in my phone. Well, might as well see what it is.

“Ryan: Hey sexy, just at home thinkin bout you. Hope ur thinkin bout me xoxo”

He’s kidding right. He’s got to be fucking kidding. I refuse to even attempt a reply. After I finished almost barfing at Ryan’s text, Oliver replied.

“Oliver: I was in the restroom right there. We were just talking. Then he suddenly left.”

There has to be more to it than that. Ryan is way too horny to not hit on poor old Olivier.

“Me: Oliver. Ryan and I are not, and will never be, an item. If you want him, please, be my guest and have him. He’s not even my type.”

For all I know, Ryan and Oliver already fucked. Knowing Ryan, they have definitely kissed.

“Oliver: We already are an item, which is why  i’m texting you, I want to know why you were all over my MAN. BACK OFF ALEX.”

Woah, he’s getting defensive.

“Me: Trust me, there is nothing to worry about.”

Is he really blaming me for this? Did he see everything, or just enough to believe this was my fault.

“Oliver: You could get any guy you wanted at school-”

Thanks, thanks for that.

“- Why do you need to go after the only guy I like at this is the damn school.”

Wow, he was the guy who was sort of hitting on me today, what happened to that. Did they just seal the deal, in the restroom? Thats, well… classy.

“Me: Didn’t you, well sort of hit on me today? During fifth, you were totally checking me out. When did you two become a thing?”

This is kind of fucked, i’m going to check Hopes message now.

“Hope: O. M. G. ALEX. THE CALLING. THEIR TOURING. WE. MUST GO.”

Finally, something not totally awful while i'm home. I texted back right then.

“Me: HOPE. WERE GOING. I’m going to start saving right now. I have ten bucks.”

I’m sure the concert has got to be more than fifty. Before I could check the price of the ticket, I got a picture message from Ryan, i’m a little afraid to open it, but I also got a message from Oliver. I checked Oliver’s first.

“Oliver: Well yeah, but that was before I got back to fifth, and Ryan was sitting there. We exchanged numbers, and, well, were dating. I don’t need to tell you this.”

Love in the 21st century is so easy.

“Me: Look, I could honestly care less about Ryan, what I care about is YOU getting hurt, Ryan is a player. Let me guess, before you saw HIM kissing ME, you two were JUST making out in the bathroom. Am I wrong?”

That’s when I got a message from Hope again.

“Hope: Alex, I can’t. I actually can’t. MY MOM JUST BOUGHT US BOTH TICKETS.”
