Hidden Love

Chapter 7

I decided to skip on meeting up with Aiden and Alli. It wasn’t really planned anyway, so I went straight for the lighting booth. I walked a little slow, just to give Kevin more time.

I went to feel for my phone, and realized that I left it on my desk back in sixth. Fortunately, I wasn’t far out of the building, and the room was in the back of the hall. I saw Ryan, and he waved to me. He called out to me, and I stopped walking to try and listen, I was right in front of the restroom.

“Hey! Alex, you left your phone on your desk!”

Thank god, I didn’t need to go all the way down there. He caught up to me and handed me my phone.

“Hey thanks, I just realized that left it in there. You just saved me the precious time it could have taken to go all the way back there.”

He laughed, and I gave a friendly smile. The silence of the empty hallway overthrew our little chat. I still had to go meet up with Kevin so I broke the awkward moment.

“Well, yeah thanks, for bringing back my phone. If it was someone else they probably would’ve stolen it… but I've got to go so, I'll, see you later, Ryan.”

“Hey, wait.”

I was a few steps out, but then stopped and turned back around. I didn’t want to be rude to the new guy.

“Yeah?”

“I know that you have a boyfriend, I saw you two in the library having a makeout sesh, it was pretty hot. You guys almost knocked down a few books there.”

 

“Please tell me you didn’t tell anyone.”

If he saw me making out with Kevin, then why did he ask me if I was straight?

“Nah, I have no one to tell. You’re the only friend i’ve made in the past week.”

“Thanks, I guess? Do you know if anyone else knows?”

“No, the library was pretty empty today.”

“Okay, well thanks for letting me know, oh, and please, keep it a secret. He doesn’t want anybody finding out.”

“Yeah no problem there.”

He took a step towards me.

“Okay… cool.”

Then he leaned in, a little too close for comfort.

“You know, you’re really hot. I’d love to have a hot makeout sesh like what you and your boytoy had earlier.”

I looked away, and tried to find something to distract myself. He kept talking.

“If you want to, you can invite him to join us. I wouldn’t mind, he seemed pretty sexy too.”

He just kept talking, and kept making it worse.

“Or, it can just be, me,-”

He kept leaning in with every word.

“And, you.”

That was when he kissed me. It was a rough kiss too. It was nothing like what I felt with Kevin when we first kissed. With Ryan, he kind of just smashed his lips into mine. It wasn’t very pleasant.

I pulled away, and pushed him back.

“Woah, dude. Back up the fuck up, please.”

“What’s wrong?”

“You just kissed me, that’s what’s wrong. Didn’t you just break up with your boyfriend a week ago? Unless you wanted me and my boyfriend to be your rebound sex toys.”

“He’s your boyfriend? God, that’s way hotter.”

He then proceeded to attack my lips again, this time I pulled him off faster than before.

“No dude! Stop! I’m not going to do this… I’m out of here.”

I turned around and walked quickly out of the hallway. I went straight for the lighting booth. I had to tell Kevin what just happened.
