Hey guys! I am so sorry for not updating for so long! I was away for thanksgiving, and have been very busy recently, but do not worry! I am not going anywhere! I am going to be uploading three new chapters TODAY! So get ready to read! Again, sorry for slacking off!

Still holding my phone, in hand, I walked  into class. Fourth period was an easy class. It was English III. The teacher in here was super laid back. He let kids talk, he let them sit wherever they wanted, and let them use their phones. He even gave us the answers to a test once. I’m convinced it’s because he was hung over and didn’t want to grade all every single paper on his own, so what do you do? Give the students the answer key. He’s pretty high up on my list of favorite teachers.

I walked in and sat at a desk near the back of the room. I threw my head down with my phone in hand, and closed my eyes. Hoping that I didn’t have to actually deal with all this. Maybe I was daydreaming in first. No way Kevin Ortiz is gay. Luckily, today we had something I could easily do for homework so I didn’t even bother to do it in class. Once again, Mr. Hopper looked hung over. I heard people talking, some about the latest and greatest tech in the market right now.

I could hear my friend Aiden talking about his now three month girlfriend. I liked them as a couple. They were cute together, therefore I envied what they have. Her name is Alli. She’s gorgeous, and has crap tons of talent too. She was in choir last year, but this year she isn’t. I don’t know why but she has told me she’s going back in for her eleventh grade, and senior years. She’s another one of those girls, well people, I just want to know more about. She seems interesting. Aiden was talking about Alli, and his latest win on this super dorky game he plays on his computer. Soon enough, I saw Kevin get up and move to the desk next to me. I tried not to notice.

“Hey Alex”.

His voice sounded so casual, so calm. Almost as if first period never happened.  Did he always get someones heart pumping faster than a hummingbird's wings and then pretend nothing happened? Did he make a habit of making out with people and then running off?

“Hey, Kevin.”

I wanted to just ask what the hell that was in the booth, and ask if we could continue, but I was confused and anxious too. I gained enough courage to attempt asking him.

“Hey, so, uh, about first peri-”

Before I could finish, he cut me off with talking about something else that happened in first period with the lighting. I could tell he didn’t want to talk about it in public. He handed me his phone and it was opened to a notepad app. It said:

“Okay so I know what happened what a little.. well unexpected-”

No kidding.

“-I’ve never really done anything like that before. I don’t like talking about it outloud. With anyone really. I also want to say i’m sorry for that, its just we were having a good time laughing and such..”

Okay so we’re getting somewhere here. Now is when I have the chance to possibly ask him questions. So I tapped on the screen to bring up the keyboard and typed:

“YEAH IT WAS INSANE. I’ve never kissed anyone in public either. Although, to set the record straight you kissed me first haha. But are you even..well gay? I mean, are you bi, or just curious or something?”

When I finished typing, I hit the done button and handed the phone back to him. I saw him laughing at what I intended to be funny. As he typed away on his phone, I looked out the window that was on my next to me. It was a nice day, but really hot. It was one of those days where you can admire the weather from inside your house with the A/C on. When Kevin was finished typing, he handed me back the phone.
