An awkward silence eeried in the air as we walked to the palace. “Y/N” “Uhm?” Kicking the rocks in the way I hum waiting for his next words. “Take your time. I'll forever wait for you.”

“I don't want you waiting for me all alone. Go ahead and find the person who truly loves you. My heart is too weak and bruised to accept love. The word love has become a ring of menace in my life. Honestly I never thought I'd meet my mate.”

“But now that you're here I feel sad that you'll be suffering because of my foolishness. At times I blamed my mate wondering why did you never show up. The fault was entirely mine but I felt since you didn't exist I didn't have to worry. And continued blaming you equally.”

“Now you're here, the emptiness in my heart hasn't turned solace rather increased the void tormenting my soul. I'm well aware of your pain that's clouding and clenching your heart. The reason is all me. Set yourself free from me. My presence is nothing but toxicity that shall sprew seeds of vengeance in your life.”

Stopping in my tracks I turn around to look at him. “You're an amazing man, I already feel that Yoongi. Don't waste your time and energy loving a broken soul like me.” Looking into his eyes I say these hurtful words to him. It's better to be honest than give him fake hopes.

“But what if I tell you it's only you that I desire? The one that I've longed for?” Holding my hand he pleads. “I'll hurt you just so you can stay away from me. Hate me Yoongi, I hope I never find happiness in my life.”

“ENOUGH” pulling me in his embrace. He rubs my back. “Let it all out, but don't push me away. I'll stay by your side as a friend if that helps me in healing you.” Why does this man love me already? He deserves someone better. Someone who cherishes him the same way as he will.

“Let's get going.” Taking a step back I tried smiling at him. Key word 'tried' I don't remember the last time I had smiled freely.

The rest of the walk was silent. Entering the palace a pair of arms wrapped around me. “I'm sorry, please forgive me. I was worried about you and spoke such words. Not in the right state of my mind. You're the best sister ever. My actions can't be justified nor my words. Never take up anyone's words to your heart, be it even me.”

Tears could be felt wetting my t-shirt. “Jin” he pulled himself back. “You said the truth. Anyways, I'm useless. Your words knocked sense into my brain. Meet him Min Yoongi, he's my mate.” Yoongi bows his head, greeting him. “You found your mate. I'm so happy for you.” Jin smiled at him. “Yoongi, would you like to stay here?”

“Would it be ok though?” He scratched his neck nervously. “It would definitely be fine afterall you're my mate. Let me give you a tour of the palace.” He nods his head. Heading inside the palace with me. “The palace has always been rumoured to be magnificent. But never knew it would be this embarkable.”

Taking a look around the palace he praised. “What are your hobbies Y/N?” “I do not have any hobbies. What about you? You seem like a well witted man who's really ambitious.” He giggles at my words. He seemed so charismatic, making me unknowingly smile.

“Your smile it's really very beautiful. Keep smiling.” My brain started functioning on what he actually meant. “Thank you.” “For what may I know?” His toothy grin depicted he was teasing me. “I haven't smiled in a long time. Thank you for making me smile.” He pouted and gave me a look of disapproval.

“I'll forever be the cause of your smile Y/N.” His reply was affirmative and willful. “Damn you're so cheesy.” Rolling my eyes playfully I bring him to his room. “Do you mind staying in here for a while. Don't get me wrong, it's just I'm new here, and I have no idea how stuff will turn out in the future.”
