"There's only one person that knows all about this curse," Josh explained, looking at everyone. "I read this from one of the articles. There's a descendant of Sarah Fier around here." He began looking for the article through the pile of newspapers.

Deena grabbed one of the newspapers and scanned it, "Found it." She handed it to Josh, who then began quietly reading.

His expression slowly turned into shock as he looked up from the paper, looking over to you.

"Y/n Louise Fier."

Everyone turned their heads to you, shock written all over their faces.

Since your parents never wanted you to get bullied as a child, they changed your name to just Y/n Louise, removing your cursed last name. Your family never spoke to you about the curse or your family's backstory as they wanted you to live a normal life.

But of course, your secret wasn't as very to hide. Mayor Will had exposed your true identity to direct people to blame your family instead of his family for the murders. Fortunately, the article Deena had found was created a decade ago and it wasn't very popular, so nobody really knew.

Until now.

You didn't believe it either. "No way," Simon grinned. "You're a witch!" "Shut up Simon!" Kate shushed the boy, raising her voice at him. She quickly lowered her tone as she spoke. "Y/n... did you know about this?"

"N- No," you stuttered, backing away from your friends. You hated yourself and your family now. Your family was the reason why Shadysiders were getting possessed. "I- I can't believe it. Oh- Oh my god-"

"Y/n," Deena said sternly. "Are you sure you never knew?"

You shook your head. "My parents never told me," your voice almost cracked. Tears began pouring out of your eyes. Josh walked over to you and pulled you into a tight warm hug.

"I believe you."

He turned around to face his sister and her friends, "We need to believe Y/n. She's our only hope to end this curse after all."
