Tea Time

Min: Thank you Professor for letting me and Dashi come and join you for tea.
Inkling: of course Min. I always love the company. Let's just hope Dashi makes it.
Dashi: I'm here!

Dashi entered the room in full make up and a fancy pink dress with little flowers decorating the waste band.

Inkling: Dashi. You know I said 'casual tea' . not...um... fancy. Right?
Dashi: I know. It's just my first tea party ever! I mean, besides the ones me and Koshi did when we were little. I guess I just got really REALLY excited.
Min: how about some tea Professor. I'll have green tea.
Dashi: THERE ARE MORE THAN ONE TYPE OF TEA!!!
Inkling: yes Dashi.
Dashi: well in that case I'll take pink tea!
Inkling: um pink tea isn't a tea.
Dashi: oh than I'll have whatever Min is having.
Inkling: okay.

Inkling hands Dashi a cup with a tea bag inside. Dash eagerly grabs it and takes a huge sip.

Dashi: OWWWW! That burned my tongue!
Min: I think your supposed to wait a few minutes before drinking so The flavor can settle in.
Inkling: and so you don't burn yourself.
Dashi: so you mean we can't even drink the tea yet?!
Inkling: give it about five minutes.

Inkling flipped over a small hour glass and sand began trickling to the bottom until the five minutes had passed.

Inkling: Dashi, Will that be one lump or two?
Dashi: but I don't have any lumps on me!?
Inkling: no *small laugh*. How many lumps of sugar do you want?
Dashi: oh! *giggle* I'll have just one.

The octopus put one lump of sugar into the dachshunds tea cup.

Dashi: thank you. The tea is less hot now. Even though my tongue still hurts.
Min: I'm sure peso can help with that Dashi. I think I burned my lip on the cup.
Dashi: ouch! Are you ok?
Min: oh yes I'll be fine thanks. Well thank you Professor again for inviting us!
Dashi: yeah! Thanks!
Inkling: goodbye girls. Have a nice rest of your day.
