Guardians of the galaxy- Vol 2 - Rocket X Reader

Part 12

                
          Rocket hits the ground, hard. Yondu lands beside him equally hard onthe ground and Y/N gets thrown on Rocket, making her quickly get up. They look up to see Taserface, Gef the Ravager and an other Ravager locking the cell door.
         "We'll deliver you to the Kree in the morning. None of you gonna last much longer after that." Taser tells them, Rocket crawls toward them as they walk away "Okay, Taserface. See you later, Taserface.Hey, Taserface, tell the other guys we said hi, Taserface!" Making Y/N snicker, sitting beside Yondu.  Taserface glances back, perturbed, as he disappears around the corner.
  Y/N, Yondu and Rocket settle.Yondu looks like a beaten man as Y/N helps with his bruises, Y/N giggled "No offense, but your employees are a bunch of jerks." She says

"I was a Kree battle-slave for twenty years when Stakar freed me. He offered me a place in the Ravagers. Said all I needed to do was adhere to the code. But I was young and greedy and stupid - like you stealing those batteries." Yondu referring to Rocket, Rocket shrugs "That was mostly Drax." Rocket says, having Y/N smile at Rocket.

  "Me and Stakar, and the other captains - we weren't so different from you and your friends. The only family I ever had." Yondu said, making Y/N's ears go down as she continue to care for his wounds "But I decided to break the code and They exiled me." Yondu says, sighing "These ones here are the ones who followed - of course they're jerks. Which is what I deserve."
                          "Slow down, drama queen. You might deserve this, but I don't. We gotta  get out of here." Rocket says, getting a glare out of Y/N due to him being selfish, Yondu then starts petting Y/N head, getting a purr out of her. Rocket glares at that connection "Where's Quill?" Yondu ask
        "Went off with his old man." Y/N says "Ego?" Yondu looks concerned, looking over at Rocket, who is staring at him, picking this up.  "Yeah. It's a day for dumbass names." Yondu snickers, making Y/N smile.

                    "You smiled and for a second I got a warm feeling, but then it was ruined by those disgusting-ass teeth. Ever heard of floss?" Rocket says, making Y/N and Yondu's smile disappears.
  "You're like a professional asshole or - ?"  "Pretty much a pro." Rocket says, shrugging

"Why didn't you deliver Quill to Ego like you promised?" Y/N asked, seeing if it was like her and Hydra.
"He was skinny, could fit into places we couldn't. Good for thieving." Yondu says as Rocket nods, grumbles       "I got an idea on how to get outta here. But we're gonna need your little friend." Yondu says, looking between Y/N and Rocket.

Later Groot walking in the shadows, moping as he walk down the hallway, looking traumatized. His clothes are torn and he's soaked in alcohol. As he passes the cell, he looks up hearing something to catch his attention - "Hey, twig. C'mere." Yondu says,
      Groot sees Y/N, Yondu and Rocket looking at him in the cell. He steps toward them.
                         Y/N grips the bar tightly with her one hand and puts her other hand out to Groot " Oh, man. What'd they do to you?" She ask, as Groot put his hand on Y/N's looking up at Rocket sadly "I will kill them" Rocket growled
                 "Hey, you wanna help us get outta here?" Yondu says,  Groot nods.   Rocket looks unsure as Yondu speaks slowly "There's something I need you to  get, and bring back to me." Groot nods, like he understood as Yondu continued "In the Cap'n's quarters, there's a prototype fin, like the thing I wore on my head. There's a drawer next to the bunk. It's inside that. It's red. You got it?" Groot nods sweetly and darts off to get it.   Yondu looks at Y/N and Rocket, pleased. Rocket looks uncertain and Y/N gave Yondu a sympathetic smile.

Reader POV
Sitting next to Rocket, I look over at him and then look away when he looked at me, doing it back and forth a few times before looking at Yondu who's seeing all this, I gave him a fake smile as Yondu glares at Rocket a bit before Groot came back, Baby Groot stands outside of the cell, beaming, holding a pair of underwear.
              "That's my underwears." Yondu says   "Yeah, I was pretty sure he didn't know what you were talking about." I tell him as Rocket nods "You have to explain it more careful." Rocket explains
       "All right. It's. a. prototype. fin."
Minutes later, Groot is back in front of the cell, holding a wriggling Orloni in his hands.    "That's an orloni. It's a fin, Groot." Rocket says, Yondu and Rocket looks over at me "You explain it this time." Yondu says with Rocket agreeing. Winking at Rocket, I whisper into Groots ear, he runs off and minutes later Groot looks hopeful, holding out a cybernetic eye.
               "That's Vorker's eye. He takes it out when he sleeps. Go look again."
          Groot starts to run off but Rocket stops him "But leave the eye here."   "Why?" Yondu ask, looking at me laughing and Rocket who can hardly s speak as he laughs "He's gonna wake up tomorrow and he's not gonna know where his eye is!"
