Everyone holds on like their on like they were in 'kingda Ka' from six flags - look it up - making Y/N raise her hands up as she giggled, Drax shakes his head.

Yondu looks over to Quill "We should be going up!"
"We can't. Ego wants to eradicate the universe as we know it. We have to kill him." They go toward a fissure in the earth below. Seeing that Its too small for the ship " Rocket!" Quill says. "Got it." Rocket blast the lasers perfectly, chipping pieces away from the rock, forming an opening in the crack.
The ship smashes into the opening, barely fitting, leading down into the planet.
Quill flies perfectly, twisting through tunnels and around corners. Rocket mans the lasers, bladtsing pieces out of places just in time so the can get through

"So, we're saving the galaxy again?"
"-I guess."
"Awesome. We'll really be able to jack up our prices if we're two-time-galaxy savers."
" I seriously can't believe that is where your mind goes." Quill says to Rocket
"It was just a random thought, man! I thought we were friends! Of course I care about the planets, and the buildings, and all of the animals on the planets." "-And the people." Quill corrects him and Rocket shrugs "Meh." Rocket says, making Y/N and Mantis giggles
"The crabby puppy is so cute he makes me want to die!" Mantis says, Drax looks over to her "Your suicidal thoughts sadden me, but your wish will likely come true"

"Cap'n?"

Yondu doesn't hear the crackling speaker beside him as they maneuver down through the fissure. Quill eyes him. "So why'd Ego want you here?" Yondu ask Quill
"He needs my genetic connection to the light to help destroy the universe. He tried to teach me how to control the power." "So could you?"
"A little. I made a ball." "A ball?" Yondu question him and he shrug "I thought as hard as a could, that's all I could come up with." "You 'thought'?"
Quill nods at Yondu's questioning
Yondu sighs "You think when I make this arrow fly I use my head?" "What do you use?" Quill ask as they look at each other instead of where they're going, and they crash into an overhanging piece of rock, The entire side door is ripped off and the laser drill drops into this huge open space within the planet The Guardians gather on the side of the ship open to the hollow, gazing out at its stunning beauty, lit by Ego's white glow running throughout it. "Whoa." Gamora says as Mantis turns, looking through the portholes on the other side.
"There! Thats Ego's core." Mantis points at the Self Chamber, down below them. They twist down towards it.
"That ore's thick. Rocket, we're gonna need to use the big laser." Y/N tells Rocket, who nods, flicking some switches. All the small lasers on the sides move through grooves to combine into one huge laser in the center of the ship
"We must hurry. It will not take Ego long to find us." Mantis says, sounding a bit scared as the ship move lightly.
"Keep it still!" Rock yells to Quill, Quill steadies the craft as best he can beside the Self Chamber. But it's built for power, not precision.
Rocket powers up the mega-laser and holds tight to the controls as it drills into the shell of the core, burning a hole into it, making it melt and drip down

"We drill into the center, we kill him." Quill says as he holds tight to the steering wheel. Yondu notices the blinking light on the comm. He taps it.
"What is it, Kraglin?" "Um, remember that Ayesha chick?" "Yeah, why?" Yondu says, looking out the window where Ayesha's squad is swooping out of the cracks of the surface all around them "Aw, hell." Yondu yells as him and Quill pulls away from the envoys, the Sovereign envoys starts blasting at the craft all at once and the laser lose power and the drill ship turns sideways making Drax, Mantis, and Gamora go from the hole in the side. Nebula and Groot grab onto the floor, Y/N almost sliding out but Groot grabs her by growing his branches and catching her. Y/N gets a hold to the floor, sighing out of relief, she smiles at Groot "my hero"
