Yoooooooooo AoT won this one! I forgot how I was initially doing it, so I just decided to do one loop of each fandom first before going in and reusing them again! It was between AoT, Fire Emblem, Narnia, and RWBY, and our beloved Titan killers prevailed! Armin is our next victim!

I also decided to do shorter beginning chapters, to sort of introduce the ARK 'simulation' and how some of the characters are adapting and living before starting to mingle them. So the next three (four counting this one) will be shorter blurbs than later on. Expect at least 1,000 words or more for future chapters!

We're in the home stretch of the introduction chapters, things will be getting spicier, I promise! You can count on it!

P.S. there actually will be a plot to this! The main goal is to return back to their own worlds, but there will be little sub-plots mixed in, like spelunking to get artifacts, challenging bosses, and fighting Alphas! I know the final boss for Crystal Isles is the Queen Crystal Wyvern, but I feel having it as something else will add some flair. Variety is the spice of life after all! Do expect some Genesis Part 2 things added soon!!!

Armin had the best job in the tribe, he reckoned. Babysitting! All he had to do was hatch and nurture the baby dinosaurs until they were big and strong.

Well, if some of them didn't think his fingers were lunch it would be the easiest. Babies, man.

Eren had meat runs, Mikasa had metal runs, and Levi tended to their defenses when he wasn't out helping Eren get meat. Armin hadn't really been outside the walls of their base since they built it.

Until today, of course! They were out trying to tame the most annoying thing by far.

Eren had run off with Titan to get raw mutton, and Mikasa had to fly back to base on Tsubasa to get more tranquilizer darts. He and Levi both were still tasked with getting the damn thing in the trap.

They had 'knocked' it out originally, so their plan was to build the trap around it. Naturally, the thing wasn't actually unconscious and woke to kill them the second they got close. Armin's arm stung where he was hit, and he was furiously trying to get the gauze bandages around it before Levi got eaten. Damn, maybe they should've all brought fliers instead of just Tsubasa the Ember Crystal Wyvern.

The Deinonychus weren't failing them, though. They were just fast enough to outrun the beast, yet not quick enough to keep its attention long enough to lure it into the trap. Ripple was at least patient with Armin, being the main reason why he chose her to trek with.

He got his arm bandaged up and the bleeding mostly stopped before he joined Levi and Deathclaw in trying to lure it in. With the narrow space between Deathclaw and their target, Ripple chanced it, speeding through and getting its attention. Armin held his breath as he turned her towards the trap. They ran up the ramp and jumped over the pit, the creature following them.

Armin chanced a look. It was in!

"Good work." Levi huffed, glared the dinosaur down. Armin still wasn't sure what it was.

"Thanks!" They started shooting it with the darts they had, watching it seem to tranq out again. "It's out again."

"Hopefully." Levi sighed, getting close enough to prod it with his rifle. It didn't move, though it could just be waiting for the right moment.

Armin took this chance to get closer and use his implant to see what it was. He tapped the diamond when he got close enough, reading the name aloud.

"Indoraptor."

"Is that what this thing is called?"

"Apparently so."

It got back up again shortly after, snapping at them in hopes of catching an arm for lunch. Levi quickly ushered them back, firing tranqs at it again. Armin followed suit, 'knocking' it back out. Potentially.

All they had to do was rinse and repeat until Eren and Mikasa returned, or until this thing was truly unconscious. Not that hard now, especially since it wasn't running all over the plains after them.
