Woohoo our next chapter has one Shoto as our unlucky victim. Only spun the wheel on three people from this fandom, and I believe I'll spin at least 2 to 4 from each. Today, BNHA and Shoto won. Yay!

Shoto sighed, situating the saddle on Freezerburn. He and his Equus were going to do a recon mission on a recent Dodo Boss sighting from Uraraka. While he would've preferred the air to check out this potentially dangerous situation, the team's Tropical Crystal Wyvern, Parfait, was seriously injured in a fight with a JP Rex the other day.

So, landlocked, Shoto and Freezerburn set out.

The ride out for the Green Obelisk was a perilous and long one, though it was what was needed. Lucky for him, Freezerburn had excellent stamina and very little fear of what lurked in the swamps.

Life in the Crystal Isles (at least that's what Deku decided to call them) was tough. There seemed to be two kinds of almost every dinosaur, and the rarer versions were much more difficult to take down or tame. The taming methods they'd devised were crazy and totally shouldn't have worked, yet they did. Reality here was rather, say, twisted.

And Shoto still could not wrap his head around the strange diamond thing in his wrist.

He learned it acted like a backpack; something to store the unneeded things he collected or the tools he always carried. Oh, and sure, it also could carry the precious resources he found. That wasn't normally his job, though.

It was around midday when he finally arrived at the Green Obelisk. He dismounted, his butt sore from the saddle and his knees locked up when he tried to walk. He definitely didn't like this sort of long-distance travel.

The location was quiet despite the low hum of the Obelisk (and no, he STILL hadn't figured out the purpose of them). No sign of the Dodo 'Boss' there.

"Now, Uraraka said it was just 'round here.."

Shoto looked around, sighing when he found nothing. "Maybe it's moved." He sighed again, remounting his horse. He knew coming into contact with it in the densely wooded swamp was a death sentence. But, what other choice did he have? Deku wasn't fit for this, Uraraka was the one who saw it (on Parfait no less), and Bakugo was out on material runs.

He wished Momo and her useful Quirk were here now. He wasn't sure where the others were, as he had woken up with only Deku, Bakugo, Uraraka, and a regular dodo a few months back. He missed the rest of Class 1-A (yes, he even missed Minoru JUST a little bit—though he wouldn't admit THAT aloud). He just hoped that soon, this strange 'simulation' would end, and they could all go back to their lives at UA high school.

But for now, he had a Dodo 'Boss' to track.
