Fire Emblem won with Marth ironically as the first character! I've a plan to have Narnia as the last chapter of these short introduction chapters, so next up is RWBY! Look forward to that!

After the Narnia chapter, these will start to get longer and more in depth about the ARK, as in Explorer notes discovered, caves searched, new dinosaurs tamed, and even a miniboss/big boss battle or two! I'm really excited to kick this off into full gear, and every chapter after this has a chance to be a repeated franchise (ie. an OC chapter followed by a different OC immediately, and so on and so forth).

If one franchise is selected by the wheel more than twice, I will interfere, so there should be no more that two-dupe franchise chapters in a row. Just a heads up on that! Let's get the ball rolling!!

It was a dark, gloomy, stormy night, not unlike the dreary hours that came before it. At least by then Ike and Roy had finished the roof of their expanded upon house, so the torrential downpour wasn't battering them all night and soaking them to the bone. Marth was, however, concerned for the well-being of their horses and raptors, despite them probably having spent more than one dangerous night out in a thunderstorm when they were wild.

Ike assured him they'd be fine, and Roy shared his concerns. It took all he had in him not to squeeze them all in through the double doors of the house into the dry, warm interior. He could tell Roy felt the same. The fireplace was so nice and toasty, and their new home was plenty big and plenty warm. It didn't help that their soon-to-be stables were still just that; soon-to-be. The tames had nowhere warm and dry to stay the night.

It was late now, one, maybe two in the morning; hard to tell due to the thick cloud cover. Marth was still awake, staring out of the glass windows at the poor Equus and Raptors all huddled together under a single tree within the behemoth gate walls. It made him sick, made his heart ache. "Ike, they're cold." He whispered sympathetically, trying not to wake the now peacefully sleeping Roy. "Please, can't we bring them in? There's only the six."

Ike sighed, rolling over to face Marth's bed from his own. "And get their wet claws and hooves all over our new wood floors and shag rugs? I think not."

"Ike, please, stop acting all heartless."

"I'm not acting heartless, I'm trying to be sensible."

"Then let them in, they're cold."

"Marth, you'll wake Roy with that whining."

"I'm not whining, and please don't change the subject. They're alive too, like us." Marth looked at him with pleading eyes, praying Ike could see them in the dark. "Please. Just until we get those stables built."

"Oh, fine. Go get them."

He wasn't sure if Ike saw his eyes and fell victim to them, or if he was just tired of arguing. Either way, this was a huge win for him. Marth sprung from his bed, tip-toeing over to the doors and opening them. He called their three Equus and three Raptors in, getting them settled by the still burning fire. After laying out some leaves and spare rugs they had for towels, Marth returned to his bed and slipped silently under the covers.

"Thank you, Ike."

"Yeah, yeah. You're welcome."
