{Accepting ~}

This time my sleep was a reposeful one.

When my eyes flutter open I’m covered with a fluffy blanket and a pillow beneath my head.

A soft smile forms in my face, involuntarily.

“I’m a bad person, love”
I scoff

Yep definitely a bad person

After I’m done with my daily hygiene routine, I get dressed into something warm.

I move into his outdoor kitchen which I had discovered while wandering around his house.

I sit on the island, watching the beauteous  scenario the nature had presented me.

The location of his house was quite isolated, given the fact there were no other houses to be seen as far as one’s eyes could reach.
We were surrounded by a field of white chrysanthemum with few small trees at the side, creating a natural boundary.

In the language of flowers chrysanthemum means love, happiness, joy and longevity; however it is also the flower symbolising death, bereavement and goodbye.

It was funny how the same flower held both a boon and a curse.

Suddenly my silver pendant appears in front of my eyes.

I look up to see doom standing over me, holding each end of the pendant with his two hands.

“God, please make some noise when you are around to make your presence be known. I don’t have cat ears”
He chuckles

“What are you doing?”, my brow raise
“Doing what you asked me to do”
I tilt my head in confusion

“How weak is your memory, love. You forgot the conversation we had last night”

Flashback

“Repeat that again”, he says

I roll my eyes, “I want you to gift me something; anything. And by that I don’t mean some buckle collar.
A ring, bracelet anything would work ,until and unless I can wear it 24/7”

“Why do you want it?”

“Well after some digging I found that gifting gifts to the partner improves their relationship. So if I wear your gift everywhere it would remind me of you and the more I remember you the more likely I’ll fall in love with you”

He looks at me like I’ve lost it, which I probably must have cause the ideas I was giving was just so ridiculous.

He narrows his eyes, “I don’t think it works that way, anyways what would you gift me then?”

I scoff, “Heya I’m the one falling for you, not the other way round. Why should I gift you?”

He chuckles in amusement, “You never fail to amuse me, love”

Flashback ends

I raise my brows, “So this is your gift”

“Yes. You said anything would work”, he smiles innocently “Besides I haven’t seen you wearing it ever since that party”

“Yeah. I didn’t want to walk around carrying a gps around my neck”

“Whether you wear it or not, it won’t make a difference, love; I will find you at the end of the day”
