jj's flirting abilities
"you don't know what i'm thinking bro, cause you're not sherlock holmes!"
BRAEDEN'S SKILLS INCLUDE; sex, drugs, robbing, surfing, fish information, nursing and blocking out her feelings.
mainly the last one.
braeden and dan pulled up to the boneyard for the second time in outer banks. maybe dan has been there more than once, but this is braeden's second time. and hopefully, she wasn't going to come across any cocky blonde guys like rafe this time.
"don't do anything i wouldn't do" dan winked at his sister as he pointed finger guns and walked backwards to, who braeden was guessing, his friends. braeden sighed as she looked around the beach, trying to find a table full of blunts or, if there isn't any of those, a beer kegger. finally, her eyes met at a silver canister which, she was assuming, was a beer kegger. braeden's eyes widened with excitement -which surprised her because she usually wouldn't go for the liquor- but mainly disappointment considering there wasn't any drugs to be seen.
she strutted towards the kegger, to be greeted by a teenage boy with brown, curly locks.
"hey" the boy smiled at braeden, making her slightly smile back. but braeden wasn't here for friends; she was here to be intoxicated like she never has before."hi" she quietly responded as she looked away from the boy in front. her eyes trailed anywhere apart from the stranger that was pouring her a drink in the solo cup. braeden knew that if she made any source of eye contact, then there would be a conversation, which may
lead to having friends and braeden certainly did not want that.the boy handed the girl a red solo cup with beer inside. "here" braeden looked in the cup and back up to the brunette. her face wrote 'is there anything sus in there' "it's not drugged, don't worry, just beer" the boy pushed the cup further in front, signalling for the girl to take it. braeden slowly took the substance from the boy's hand; he smiled at the girl in front.
"i'm john b" the boy moved his locks away from his eyes.
john b?
"john b?" braeden tilted her head to the side in confusion.
"yes, john b, you got water in your ears or something?" john b laughed at his own joke, yet the girl didn't change emotion. he awkwardly coughed and straightened his posture. "what's your name?"
braeden looked at the boy again, thinking whether or not she should tell him. this could either go one way or another; 1. she could tell him her name or 2. she could walk away now and probably never speak to him again. braeden looked at the boy once more and turned around to walk away. she could hear the boy shout 'wait' from behind, but she kept on walking, ignoring his noisy calls.
