they know, they know
"anyways, have fun on your little scuba diving sesh"
OUTER BANKS HASN'T been 'paradise on earth' as it's supposedly known to be. the only surprise that has happened, was the gun, but that was more scary for braeden. the young teen is hoping for some more spice in obx, maybe that'll happen soon.
braeden was sitting on her bed, overthinking about what happened earlier at the boneyard. jj held a gun to topper's head. yes topper is a complete asshole, but it was a fucking gun.
"right, what happened then?" dan snuck in while the welsh girl was staring out of space. he was leaning on her door frame giving one of his 'overprotective looks'.
braeden turned to face the boy with a shocked face, considering his presence was so sudden. she quickly calmed down after recognising that it was her brother not her drunken father. "uh, nothing" both of the welsh siblings know each other more than they know themselves. so, when dan saw the look on his sister's face, he knew something was up, and he was right, but braeden would never admit that.
"pshh, bullshit" dan blew raspberries out in the air making it seem her response was utter crap. the littlest bit of spit traveled from his lips to braeden's leg; she scrunched up her nose in disgust and rapidly rubbed the spit off her leg with her sleeve.
excluding the disgustingness of her brother, braeden knew she had to lie, it's basically like a routine now. "i'm serious! nothing happened"
dan squinted his eyes as he tried to read his sister's face. to be honest, it was challenging for the older boy, since he could usually read her face very well. after realising he could not in fact study her, he huffed.
"alright" inside, braeden sighed in relief, yet she just turned around and faced her window, not letting dan see her face. he sighed once more, then left her in her own thoughts. yet, he didn't know that his sister was thinking about a certain blonde boy she had only met a few hours ago.

braeden is currently walking along the side walk. maybe there will be drugs for sale, since she's out of blunts. she was planning on having a nice walk, but there was a certain group of friends that caught her eye in the distance.
"there better be something down there, john b" braeden heard one of the four speak. she didn't know what they were talking about, but something to do with 'down there' suggests that they're trying to find something under the OBX surface. braeden saw john b diving down into the grady white and attempting to find something, she didn't know what they found, but it could lead to somewhere, and that was enough to intrigue her.
