MISSY: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐲𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦

Missy sighs as her and Suki kept really low out of fear of the sniper that gunned down the professor Claude Pecanto  just moments ago, they both not sure what to do. They both could see the blood leaking from the professors body like water like a puddle on the floor, it was their one best chance of ending the snow storm in Paris and retrieving the relic but now it seemed it was hopeless.

Missy had figured out that the DNA of humans activates the relics but in theory and only in theory tears which Missy said to complete the human body woukd be the sixty percent which was water. She knew it can't be any other water but human water to close it as its something to do with the purification of it all.

Missy didn't know what else it could be as to her it was there best shot but now their best shot is laying dead on the floor and with who they can only assume was the Templars had found them. They could hear the motors of the vehicles of the snow bikes coming, then parked outside.

They dare not look out the window as there was sniper about and the chances are the sniper would kill them or keep them pinned down. There was no way of knowing what the Templars attentions were only that they were after the same thing as they were and properly fought through the storm to get here. There is a good chance they found out what is going on, either by a spy in the mist of the Tanaka's industries or they had the professors home bugged.

Either way they were stuck and had no way out as Missy wanted to see but even she was too nervous to stick her own head at the window. She looked around as she picked up a pot near the fire place, she got as near to the window as possible.

She looked at Suki taking deep breaths as she kept low and raised the pot like a head, but as she did there was this cracking of breaking glass and the pot was shot out her hand.

Missy scrambled back the Suki gasping, "Okay they trying to kill us and I can assume they are going to come in here like an army and... Kill us",

"Keeping us trapped like mice in a maze", Suki sighs,

"Mice.. I thought it was rats in maze", Missy grunts as she keeps near Suki,

"Rats, mice whatever they are going to kill us",  Suki sighs looking around,

Missy looks around as she looks at Suki as she seem to be having an idea or maybe a plan for them both getting out of there or not, she couldn't tell what she is thinking at all, properly as it's been a heck of a journey over the past twenty four hours and she had the feeling it has only really just begun. Missy then turned her head as she could hear the sound of men, maybe half a dozen running through the snow towards the building.

Missy looked, as Suki who was taking deep breaths to keep herself calm, but it then suddenly came to her, back in London when they faced danger in the museum, they both fought off those men in there that they will have to do the same. Only this time these men might have automatic weapons and no swords,

"London..", Missy takes a quick breath thinking,

"What about London", Suki speaks quietly so she can hear what's going on outside,

"We made an excellent team didn't we, two plucky fighters taking on those men, kicking their arses..", Missy smiles as she looked towards the only door to the small apartment,

"You suggesting what I think you are suggesting ?", Suki looks at Missy confused,

"If you are thinking to get through that door somehow and taking on this army to escape then....yes", Missy grins at her,

"They have guns and there is a sniper ready to fight as soon as we stand up, plus we don't have any guns or weapons of any kind", Suki scoffs at her,

"Suki darling, please we both trained fighters and take a look around we are in an professors exivation apartment, where he had collected many wonderful things including ancient knifes and a swords", Missy grins as she points out a few things she has missed,

Suki looked around and laughs a little covering her mount so not to give their position away, but speaks softly back to her, "So... Then what we get lucky and escape and go to the tower, what's to say they don't follow us",

"Nothing is for certain, but at least we have a chance and don't forget we have your plane is waiting for us in London", Missy added her say to her,

"That's in London, first we have to get out of here first and find the relic then we have to...", Suki stops talking when she sees Missy pointing to his vortex malipulator strapped to her wrist,

"Oh yes, we have a good chance but unfortunately we have another few hours before we can use it, the battery was damage in an explosion a long time ago and the solar power supply needs to charge up every few hours, but because there is very little blooming sun it takes longer", Missy sighs,

"How did that happen?", Suki asked,

"A very long time ago, no time to explain now but it's our transport out of here", Missy gasps as she peeps a little out the window but out view, from behind the curtains,

"That's great but hated it last time, I was sick and couldn't stand up straight", Suki looked at her,

"Well it takes a little time to get used to it then it's a doddle afterwards but its the quickest route out of here", Missy said as she heard the door down the stairs being kicked in,

Suki face looked worried as she heard the same noise as Missy did, they were coming for them as she looked at the nearest window that was facing the door, then she thinks about it, something they both over looked as she smiles and stands up but keeps to the shadows by the window,

"Let's do it..", her voice showed determination,

Missy looked at her as she winks at Missy,  holding the helm of the curtain, "Of course block the view, which gives us maybe five seconds to get to the door, or grab a weapon and get to the door",

She nods, "Absolutely and you get your thrill of a kill too, it's a win win situation",

"Well can't complain, nor can you, they are simply in our way, so what do you say we fight our way out of here at the count of three", Missy takes a deep breath as she focuses her mind at the door,

"Then we run like hell, but what about the sniper, won't they see us running and boom we are dead?", Suki asked nervously,

"Yeah that's why we run towards them, they are across the street, if we run at them it's closes down their line of sight forcing them to pull out", Missy said as she was ready to try at least,

"Your crazy, did you know that", Suki gasps put taking deep breaths ready to go,

"All my life...my darling dear... all my life ", Missy grins at her then counts down,

Suki nods and closes her eyes as she prepares to close the cutting which she have to be fast as they can hear the men coming up the stairs fast like a heard of elephants marching. Missy's eyes were close for a moment remembering her training and the words of her former master in her ear,

𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡',

her eyes open as she looks at Suki and nods,

"Now..", Missy gasps,

Suki grabs the curtin as she runs pulling it across, with a couple shots fired but missing her, she was able to duck and roll out the way, this was their chance as they ran to the door. Missy opened the door to the surprise of the men who where in tactical gear and masks, holding automatic weapons as she threw the first punch, grabbing the weapon with the man holding it as she spun herself around.

Shots were fired but they hit the man who Missy had hold of, as Suki managed to run pass and lower slide across the floor to sweep the soldiers legs from under him. Missy was focused as this wasn't just a fight it was a death match as she snapped the man's neck and takes his hand gun from it's holster and fire it down the steps towards some more approaching soldiers.

Suki took a knife from the boot of the man she knocked down and stabbed him in the neck, she has never killed anyone before but like Missy said it's about survival and these men weren't here to capture or detaine, they were here to eliminate their targets, which was Suki and Missy.

Missy fired her weapon as the men ducked out the way but got caught by her firing as she hit them in the arms and legs. Suki had moved quickly as she slashed the knife at the soldier kicking him down but was under fire as she diverted her self to dive out the way over the bannister.

Missy sissor kicked her legs over the top of the bannister as she fell down to the ground with a huge thud, her eyes focused clearly as she rolled out the way of the gun fire towards Suki who seem to spin around and threw her knife into the chest of an attacking soldier.

Suki jumped over a tabled sliding across it to kick a guy that was holding a pump action shot gun and made him hold it the wrong way as she had hold of the trigger. Giving him a cheeky wink she pulled the trigger blasting him into the wall. Missy skills were unmatched as she had amazed Suki by doing something she has never seen before by walking along the wall like she was in a matrix movie and kick a gunman in the head and land perfectly.

Missy winked at her as she took the gun she had and shot the guy directly in the face, for the moment they were in the clear but they knew more were coming as they can hear a voice over the CB ear piece communication that they are coming hold them there. These soldiers were only foot soldiers nothing more so the person or persons chasing them down hasn't got there yet,

"Oh fun, that was first wave, how many more", Suki shouts out as she reached the door keeping to the shadow,

"Well they are relentless, I give them that, but let's not give them the satisfaction my dear", Missy gasps breathing heavy and a bit sore,

"Now we make a run for it right?", she asks,

"Yeah, pretty much, there is no sun and...", Missy gasps and grins looking down, she noticed the dead soldier had smoke grenades on him,

"What, what is it", Suki asked watching Missy,

Missy leaned down and picked a couple of smoke grenades, "How long can you hold your breath?",

"Smoke grenades...", Suki grins as her heart was pumping like a race horse,

"Sniper can't kill what he can't see", Missy gives her a wink,

"Okay let's do it and we can use the snow bikes to escape right", Suki looked at her as she was ready to go,

"No do you..?", Missy asked quickly as she pulled the pin and began to toss the them out one by one,

"Like riding a bike I guess, but I seen my skiing instructor do it once, how hard can it be", She smiles shrugging her shoulders,

"Great, I drive then", she grabs her hand as she sees the smoke mixed with the icy air create a thick fog of smoke as she held her breath and pulled her with her outside.

They ran as fast as they could through the smog as they reached the snowbike, Missy climbed on with Suki wrapping her arms around hwr waist. They hear the shots of the sniper rifle being fired but very nearly missing them. Missy managed to turn the key and twist the handle bar to make them move as they felt the icy cold wind blowing around them, still couldn't see nothing as Missy sped up the bike.

Without warning they heard a bullet hit the side of the bike as they were moving breaking free of the icy and smoke as they turned a corner almost crashing the snow bike on their first go, but Missy used her body weight to keep them level. They races down the street as they knew they won't be followed yet but had to head towards the tower.

The wind blew freezing cold as Claude said it would be getting dark soon and it be a heck of a lot colder for sure. At the moment they were okay, but the snow and wind blowing in Missy's face was making it very difficult to see. It was freezing for her as she sped in the direction of the Elife Tower, she wanted to beat them to it not matter what.

They weren't to far off but they were moving from side to side as they seemed to be getting to the edge of the storm, which was odd as she thought it be more central. They pulled up as far as they could, their hearts pumping from the fight at the professors place but they didn't have much time as it wouldn't be long before the Templars would catch up with them.

Missy got off as she zipped this coat up and and put up her hood, they were still within the Eye of the storm but the winds were still blowing the icy snow about. Suki stood behind her using her back as a shield from the blowing winds as she looked around,

"Where do we look now Missy", She calls out to her,

"Not sure but the professor said it was under the tower so we look for an access somewhere, I am not sure where", Missy gasps taking in a deep breath as she starts to walm more closer to the tower through the snow,

"Thought you said it be more central than this, we are at the edge of the eye, I don't get it", Suki looked at Missy as she follows,

"I don't either, but this is mystical, so it's possible that...", Missy speaks out seeing the iced up iron of the leg of the tower,

"It's moved..", Suki takes a deep breath as she guessed,

"Right that's what I am thinking, are we too late?", Missy suggested, then stop looking around,

"There are tunnels all over Paris and catacombs, chances are endless", Suki walks around looking for any kind of entrance below through the snow,

"But it be in this area, so it's not far and Holy pigs fart", Missy grunts smaching the side of her head,

"Holy pig fart! You need to work on your cursing, what is it?", Suki looks at her shaking her head with a light laugh,

"The professor, he didn't tell us what it looked like, we assumed it's like an object but what if its not, we are going to be searching for a needle in a hay stack", Missy's scoffs as she keeps looking,

Suki looks around as it seemed in the distant there were some headlights coming and the sound of motor vehicles that was echoing through the streets. Missy turned to hear them coming, taking a sigh as her and Suki knew that more Templars were on there way, they didn't have much time before they get spotted. There would be a chance if seen they would lead the Templars right to the location of the relic, so they had to move fast.

Missy looks around as she notice a service entrance door on the side of the iron leg,
"Look over there a service entrance door, it should lead to the lower floors of the machine that operate the elevators of the tower, if so it might lead us to the relic".

Suki nods as they both ran to the door, it was froze over but Missy managed to open it as they both slipped inside as the temperature was a little different inside as despite the freezing weather on the surface there was steam rising from the steel grates on the floor as they moved inside, this was a weird feeling as this were the most warmth they felt in a day or so,

"Steam where is it coming from?", Suki questioned as she looked at the floor,

Missy shook her head, "I don't know",

"It's got to come from below", Suki looks down,

"Yes, if there is steam then it's came from somewhere below us...remember steam rises...", Missy thinks as she looks at Suki as they walked fast looking for the staircase to go down below,

"The relic..?", Suki suggests,

Missy's eyes widen, how could he be so mentally challenged as he hit his own forehead, "Of course, that's it, don't you see the relic it's giving off a mass of energy, yes it's the but every mass of engery gives off heat and the amount of engery it has conducted to cover the whole of Paris, its generated heat down here like a conductor  causing the effect of the eye  so we follow the heat.. ",

"We find the relic..", Suki smiles at Missy's intelligence,

"Exactly.. my dear", Missy grins,

"But wouldn't mean the closer we get the hotter it be?", Suki asks,

Missy opens the doors to the staircase she just looks at her with a grin, "I don't know but don't you see, the professor activated the relic with his blood and the wave of engery its heated up the water down below here, the eye of the storm is like a mystic orb surrounding it and it touches the water and...",

"The surrounding orb engery heats up the water", Suki smiles,

"So come on let's save Paris...", Not much of the hero type but the thrill of the chase and killing was very appealing to her as Missy and Suki made their way down the steel steps.
