It took Casey much longer than she thought for her to open a portal. When it was finally open, she collapsed to the ground, catching her breath for a moment before she went through. If she remembered correctly, all she had to do was think about the place she wanted to go to most in order for the portal to take her back home.

Slowly, Casey dragged herself to her feet and began to walk to the portal, but was stopped by the grip of a hand on her wrist. She tensed immediately. She was spun around, and when she looked, she met David's eyes. She hadn't seen him this angry ever. Not for a while, anyways.

"Casey..." David's voice was so soft Casey almost swore that he wasn't angry at her. But his eyes said otherwise, the grip on her wrist told her that he was near exploding with anger.

"Casey...why would you do this to me? Why would you try to escape me? Don't you know..." his grin and the look in his eyes sent shivers down Casey's spine and she gulped nervously.

"You can never escape me, no matter what you do. Or where you go. I will always find you. Nobody can save you now. Not your precious boyfriend, and certainly not that man who calls himself your guardian."

"We don't have much time, Will. We should really get going." Ophelia urged him. "We should go now. Who knows what David is doing to her. And remember- the way this portal works is that you don't stop thinking about Casey, not even for a moment."

Will nodded. "I know how portals work, but thanks for the reminder." he glanced over at Ollie, and the man nodded, sending a reassuring smile his way.

Ophelia turned to look at Ollie. "If anything happens to me, you'll be in charge. I'm sorry that it all had to be taken from you. I truly am."

Ollie waved her away. "Don't worry, Ophelia. It's all under control. You worry about helping Will. I'm certain that nothing will happen to you. Get back here safely, I'm sure Thomas would want that very much."

Ophelia nodded. "Of course. Shall we, Will?"

Will nodded and took her hands in his. Taking a deep breath the two of them jumped through the portal, disappearing into a swirl of orange. The portal soon closed, leaving Ollie behind alone.

Ollie let out a sigh, settling down into Casey's office chair. I can only hope that those two come back safely. I have a really bad feeling about all this. I've had it since the minute Will said that the burn marks were still warm. I didn't want to worry them or anything, So I said nothing.

Ollie knew now what he had to do. It was unspoken, but he had seen the look on Ophelia's face just before she had jumped in with Will.

Pulling out his phone, he called the authorities. Hopefully, by the time that they got here, all of them would be back here safely.

At least that was what he hoped.

It didn't take the two of them very long to reach Casey. They were shocked when they saw David, crouching down and crying softly. He turned around quickly, his expression changing as soon as he was Will. He looked pleased when he saw Will, almost like he was expecting him to come. Then his gaze shifted to Ophelia, and the look on David's face was one that Will would never forget.

"Ophelia...so you've decided to help him, huh? How precious." he laughed. "A terrible decision, really. You know what happens to traitors, Carter? They get punished." With that, David lunged at her.

"Will, go! Go get Casey. I can handle David."

"Ophelia-"

"I said go, William. She needs you more than I do right now."
