Demi and Nick continued to do the next couple of shows over the week until it was the last show, both of them were upset for it to be over but they both knew that there was a lot to look forward to. They hoped they could do a joint tour in the future and not just one where Demi was opening for Nick or vice versa. They would be taking some time off for a couple of days Demi a little more than Nick, she would now be working on a new album which she knew was overdue, they would have to separate while Nick continue to publicise his new album in other places as well as America, he wanted to reach and gain more fans elsewhere.
"What do you wanna do now?" Nick inquired slumping down on the couch next to her in their hotel room, it was the night after the last show and Nick knew Demi was always down after the last concert but she didn't seem to bother this time. Probably cause it's the best tour she's done.
"How about we go see this brother of yours?" Demi suggested. "Any more news on him or is he still being stubborn?" Nick couldn't help but laugh a bit.
"Stubborn sounds about right for Joe and I don't know, I haven't spoke to him or my parents yet this week." Nick admitted.
"Nick you need to stay in touch with your family, you know I do so we're going to work on that when we go on tour together. I bet you've hardly spent any time with your brothers." Demi accuses Nick sighing nodding his head.
"It's one of the things I regret most, I had it all when Frankie was born. I've barley spent any time with him to be honest." Nick revealed.
"Well we are going to go pack, then we will head off to New Jersey and you can spend time with him while I try and convince Joe to stop being stubborn." Demi demanded Nick not helping but laugh as they shared a hug.
"Good to see you finally walking." Denise praised as she watched her son enter the kitchen, he still had a limp but it felt good for him to be able to walk on his own without the help of crutches. He felt a lot better now, injury wise but his heart still ached for him to play football and nobody knew what he could do to cure it.
"It feels good to be walking." Joe admits allowing his mother to help him sit down at the table, he still couldn't stand very well.
"Nick is coming down for a couple of weeks with a friend." Denise revealed as she sat a glass of lemonade in front of him.
"Who's his friend? Are we finally going to get to meet someone famous?" Joe inquired making Denise laugh slightly. She hadn't met any of Nick's friends before either but she knew what kind of relationship he had with Demi, they had been the best of friends since they met for the first time on the set of Camp Rock.
"It's Demi, he said something about her being on a quest." Denise said through a laugh.
"To do what exactly?" Joe questioned but Denise just shrugged her shoulders not knowing what her son was going on about when he phoned less than an hour ago. She was just looking forward to seeing her son again and meeting the girl he had been close to all this time.
"You know he couldn't stop talking about her when he visited me in hospital, it wouldn't surprise me if they got together one day." Joe explained.
"She is a beautiful girl but he had told me before he doesn't see her like that. By what I've heard she's already in a happy relationship with someone." Denise replied.
"Nah those relationships never work out." Joe flapped his hand Denise laughing as she continued prepare dinner for later on that day. She just wanted all of her sons to be happy and if that is with a girl or being alone she didn't care. She would support them on any life choices they took and hoped they would do the same one day when and if they have children of their own.
