"No Wilmer, I've told you before I don't want to talk to you." Demi demanded not looking at him, she wanted to carry on her life with Joe without Wilmer coming to her every so often demanding that they were perfect for each other and she should dump Joe just so they could get back together. She will admit she has had some good times with Wilmer but nowhere as much fun as she's had with Joe and they have only nearly been together for three months. She has never fallen for a guy so quickly.
"Please Demi, it's serious." Wilmer begged Demi sighing looking over at Joe to see what he thought of it, he just nodded his head.
"I'll go to the bathroom and grab us some more drinks." Joe stated hesitating but got up from the booth making his way over to the bathroom as Wilmer took his seat about to speak when Demi quickly interrupted him.
"If this is anything about us being perfect together or wanting us to get back together just leave now because I'm not going through this fight again." Demi made herself clear but Wilmer shook his head gently playing with his fingers.
"I got your message last time," he mumbled sighing. "I had a thing with a girl and she's pregnant, she won't let me be there for her. I came to you for advice because despite us fighting we were best friends and you always gave the best advice."
"Why would you do something like that Wilmer?" Demi questioned sighing. "You need to find out what's going on in her mind, there has to be a reason why she doesn't want to see you."
"Then what?" He questioned back.
"Then prove to her that you want to be there, go to all the appointments, spend time with her otherwise it's just going to give her false hope that you won't be a good father when the time comes." Demi suggests Wilmer nodding his head.
"Thanks Demi, I hope we could possibly be friends?" Wilmer inquired.
"I don't know Wilmer, I still need time." Demi answered to stir the little bit of the drink she had left, Wilmer sighed nodding his head.
"Okay, thanks again and I'll see you around." Wilmer got up and left without saying another word just in time for Joe to sit down setting another mug of Coffee in front of her.
"You okay?" Joe questioned Demi nodding her head giving him a warm smile.
Demi smiled as she entered her music room that night after dinner seeing Joe on the guitar, she could tell that he had been practicing. He seemed a lot more confident as he played. They had fun earlier that day when Demi taught him some more piano since Paul wasn't around. Demi had some tips for him which would help him out in the future, he knew he wanted to learn professionally. Joe stopped when he noticed Demi in the hallway giving her a smile.
"I wrote two new songs." Joe stated setting the guitar down on the stand before taking a seat on the couch that Demi had in there, she took a seat next to him.
"When was the last time you wrote one?" Demi questioned.
"When I was seventeen or eighteen so it's been a while but I just keep getting ideas for songs and I'm away." Joe replied.
"Your completely over football now aren't you?" Demi questioned again a smile on her face which Joe soon mirrored nodding his head.
"I hate football now, I could have had more of a life if I wasn't so obsessed with training and doing well." Joe confessed.
"Glad you finally admit it!" She leaned up pecking his lips gently before taking his hand. "How about you come down to the studio with me tomorrow and you can record those songs? Sound like fun?" Joe nodded his head gently.
"Yeah that sounds like fun." Joe answered bringing her into an embrace.
