Pretty boy diggory ~ C. diggory

chapter 4

*Florence's pov*

I woke up to hermione yelling at me "wake up flo were going to be late for class!". I groaned and put my pillow over my head. Hoping she would leave, but she didn't. "Get up" "alright I'm up geez woman". I took a shower and got I'm my uniform, when I came out hermione was there looking very impatient. "Finally you toon forever" "it was like 10 minutes". We walked down to breakfast and saw the boys still half asleep.

"Morning boys" I said, they both just groaned in reply. "So what do you have next flo?" "Uh charms, what about you?" "I have charms to". After breakfast we headed to our first class. That's when the boys finally woke up. As we sat down the professor started his lecture. We weren't learning anything important that's when my mind started to drift.

Last night all I could think about was cedric. I have never felt this way before and let me tell you I didn't like it. I never really dated before, I once got asked out by Oliver wood but when we went on a date all he talked about was quidditch. I also went on a date with Seamus Finnegan but all he talked about was how he had such a big crush on me back then. He was also very awkward but it was cute.

My thoughts were interrupted when hermione nudged me in the ribs.

"Are you even listening?" "Yeah sorry zoned out for a minute". She explained what spell we were doing and showed me how to do it. After class I rushed out of the classroom trying to get to my second class. "Jones" I recognized that voice, it belonged to the boy who couldn't seem to leave me alone. I walked faster wanting to get away from him as quickly as possible. "Jones slow down" "sorry I'm going to be late for class" "I just want to talk, god woman will you slow down". I heard him run up and spin me around. "Look diggory I'm going to be late" "why are you being so difficult" "I told you im going to be late, now if you don't mind I'm leaving". I walked away and ran to my next class.

The whole class the only thing I could think about was how rude I was to cedric. As I walked to lunch I bumped into oliver. "Oh hey oliver, are you ok you look terrible" "they cancelled quidditch, they can't do that" "calm down it's only one year, c'mon let's go get some lunch" "thanks flo". We walked into the great hall and sat down. There was ron stuffing his face with food, he had a whole plate full of food. "Slow down ron you don't want to choke" said harry. "Oi I haven't ate since this morning" " none of us have". The rest of lunch we talked and had fun.

*Cedric's pov*

Me and my friends were walking to the Great Hall when my friend James spoke "so ced you going to enter the tournament?" "I don't know I mean my dad wants me to and I do want to please him". I had been thinking a lot about the tournament and weather I should enter it or not. I decided not to think about it anymore and just think about classes. As we entered the Great Hall I saw her. The girl who had been so rude to me this morning. Florence Jones. She looked beautiful as ever, her hair was in a messy bun and she was laughing with her friends. I couldn't get her out of my mind last night. Or at all, I haven't been able to get her out of my mind for the last couple weeks.

I must have been staring at her for awhile because my friends followed my gaze to the Gryffindor table. "Ooh does diggory have a crush on Florence Jones?" Said Colin wiggling his eyebrows. "No I was just looking at... Cho Chang she's rather pretty". Why in godrics hallow did I say that.

Cho Chang had been obsessed with me for years. She's asked me on dates multiple times and every time I've politely declined. She even went as far as memorizing every one of my classes and met me there for almost 2 weeks. I'll tell you that woman is insane.

"Cho Chang really the girl who has been obsessed with you for what 2 years now?" "Yeah she's really changed". That was the first thing that came to mind. "Whatever you say mate".  I then sat and ate in silence.

*Florence's pov*

After lunch I went to defense against the dark arts with hermione, ron, and harry. I took a seat next to hermione, we talked until professor Moody walked in. "Hello class I am professor Moody auror, the ministry has asked me to be here, end of story goodbye". Wow he was kinda scary. "Today we will be learning the three unforgivable curses, now the ministry does not wish me to tell you this but all I think you should know you need to know what you up against, you need to be prepared, you need to find another place to stick your gum besides the underside of your desk Mr Finnegan". The whole class turned around to stare at Seamus. "Blimey old man's go eyes st the back of his head" "Im here to cross classrooms".

The whole class was very weird and a little bit scary. He showed us all the different curses and was very weird. When we got out me and Hermione started to head to the library. She was worried about owls even though it was just the beginning of the year. And being hermione's best friend means that you have to study with her. As we sat down hermione already had grabbed multiple different books. "Hermione it's been less then a week and your already studying" "I want to be prepared" "ok fine". After about an hour of studying hermione spoke "flo can you grab me this astrology book?" "Yeah sure I'll be back".

As I was looking for the book I heard someone come up behind me. "What you looking for?". Someone whispered in my ear. I jumped and turned around. "What the hell diggory, why would you do that?" "Sorry I just couldn't resist". I rolled my eyes and went back to looking for the book. "You never answered my question" "I'm looking for an astrology book". He reached up to the top shelf. God he was tall, and handsome. He grabbed the book I was looking for, I would have never been able to find it. "How did you, nevermind". I went to grab to boom but he held it up above his head.

"I didn't hear a please" "oh hand it over diggory". I tried again and had to jump. He took that as an opportunity to push me up against the bookshelf. I was shocked, did pretty boy diggory just do that. The butterflies in my stomach didn't help the situation either. "Just say please" "no". I wanted to kiss him so badly. No I couldn't stop it Florence.

He leaned in his lips touching my ear. "Just say please" "please" I said breathlessly. He leaned back and handed me the book. "Now that wasn't so hard was it?". He walked away leaving me stunned. I returned to hermione and gave her the book. "Took you long enough" "sorry couldn't find the book" "its ok".

The rest of the night all I could think about was my interaction with Cedric. At dinner I couldn't stop staring at him. One thing was for sure. I had to try harder to stay away from cedric diggory.

Sorry it took so long to post been busy with school. I'm going to be posting more since I'm on fall break.

We finally got a good moment with Cedric and Florence leave some suggestions in the comments.
