The second task was tomorrow and i was nervous. For harry of course. he had figured out the egg a couple days after the yule ball. Cedric told him.
He found out from professor madeye moody. That guy was creepy, he would watch harry from afar and when he caught us looking he would turn away and then drink whatever was in the flask of his.

I was walking with hermione on our way back to the common room when professor mcgonacall stopped us.
"ah there you are i was looking for you girls everywhere, dumbledor needs you in his office now".
"Is everything alright?" i asked getting a little worried.
"Oh yes everything is quite alright, he just asked me to get you" she said as she started making her way towards his office.
"What was that about?" hermione asks.
"I don't know but we better go see" I say as I start following after professor McGonagall.

When we finally caught up to professor McGonagall she had already opened the door to the staircase to dumbledore's office.
When we got into the office we saw ron and this blonde little girl standing in front of dumbledore.

"Ah ladies please do join mr.weasly and miss. Delacore" Dumbledore said looking up from his desk.
"well now that you all are here I'm going to give you a potion from professor snape".
"Is everything alright sir?" Hermione asks sounding concerned.
"Everything is fine miss granger, it is completely safe, now drink up".

The potion was pink and shiny, it was in a small glass container.
What was this for? What was going to happen when I drank this?
I had so many questions until I saw that everyone else had already drank theirs.

Screw it.

I opened the bottle and downed it.
It tasted kinda bitter.
As soon as I drank it I started feeling dizzy and before I knew it everything went black.

*Cedric's pov*

Today was the day before the first task and I was nervous. Last night I got no sleep, I stayed up thinking about what I had to save.

"An hour you'll have to retrieve what we took" I had no idea what that meant.
An hour wasn't a long time. The black lake was big how could I find anything.

I got ready putting on my tank top and black swim trunks.
The task was in an hour and my nerves were really starting to kick in.
I wanted to see someone before the task started so I left my dorm and made my way to the great hall.
On my way there I was wished good luck by multiple people. I said a quite thank you and moved on.

When I got to the great hall I looked over at the gryffindor table to only see harry sitting alone. Of course there were other people but florence, hermione, and ron weren't there.
I walked up to Harry and sat down across from him.
He looked up at me and I could see he hadn't got any sleep either.

"Hello harry" why did I have to say it like that, way to make it awkward.
"Hi" he said quietly.
"Have you seen florence today?"
"No, have you?"
"No I figured you would have".
"I haven't seen her or hermione, ron didn't come back to the dorm last night".
"Where was he?"
"He went to dumbledore's office".

I nodded and got up.
"Well thanks, good luck harry".
"Yeah, you to" .

The only thing I could think about while eating breakfast was where florence was.
Was she ok?
Did she go to dumbledore's office to?
So many questions ran through my head and before I knew it I was standing in front of the black lake.
The task was about to start any minute and I had to focus.

Dumbledore made his speech and when it was time to go in the water I jumped in. I casted the bubble head charm and started to swim.
I was determined to find that treasure first, I just want to get this over with.
