Last night with Lexi was great, even considering how it ended. It would have been nice to take things further, but instead you got to have a very deep conversation. Though it doesn't sound as exciting as sleeping with a literal goddess like her, sometimes those conversations are necessary.
After your very deep conversation, the two of you headed back to the hotel in silence and went your separate ways. An occasion such as that doesn't leave much room for more. So instead of hitting home base, you got a good night's sleep and are ready to tackle today.
You should probably start with some breakfast, so you'll head down to the first floor in a few minutes to enjoy the free buffet. Then, after you're good and fed, you'll come back up here for some light exercise before heading off to the gym.
Come to think of it, why bother making a plan? They never work out for you.
...
As soon as you sit down with your breakfast, someone sits in front of you. You've never actually spoken to this person before: Thea Trinidad (Zelina Vega).
"Hello," you say casually, taking a bite of your waffles. The two of you make eye contact, and behind her cold stare is another emotion you can't quite figure out. You're genuinely curious as to what she wants.
"I want to team up with you," she says simply, with a professional smile playing at her lips.
"What do you mean?"
"I want to be your manager, Y/N. I think I can make your feud with Joe shift in a better direction than it's going," Thea replies confidently, sitting up straighter in her seat. While you'd certainly appreciate some advice on the feud, you don't want to add anyone in.
"But I'm a face character, and you're a heel manager?" This is definitely something to consider. Both of you are too hot in your respective roles to suddenly switch status, and one of you would have to make that switch for the story to make sense.
"That's what makes it interesting. Imagine a good guy teamed up with a bad girl," she says, that professional grin turning into a smirk. You also noticed that she put a little emphasis on the word bad, like there's something else to it.
"How would that work? What would make Y/RN team up with Zelina?"
"A romance, and I'm not talking about the normal kind." Her expression becomes even more confident. and suddenly it all clicks. Thea is proposing that you do something you've never seen work: forbidden lovers. Not just the romance part, but the part that makes it rated M... sex. We're talking like backstage bits where you get caught in the act of making love, but it's not graphic enough to be taken off TV.
"Lemme get this straight... you want to be my TV fuck-buddy?"
"Yes," she says with a brief pause. The idea of absolutely railing her in the locker room shower comes to mind, but you flush it out just as quickly. "The fans would kill for it."
That they would. A normal romance makes them go crazy; imagine how much they would watch if you were banging Zelina Vega on TV.
"Man, I dunno. I'd have to talk with my girlfriend before I did anything like that." Lexi will probably be upset when she learns about this. She's pretty protective of her friends, so she's not going to be thrilled to learn that her boyfriend agreed to fuck Thea Trinidad for more views.
"Please do, because you're gonna run yourself into the ground without my help." With that, she gets up and leaves. What is it with women leaving right after they make a point?
After you're finished with breakfast, you decide to skip the workout and go talk to Lexi. This is something that isn't going to wait, so it needs to be done quickly. You personally don't have a problem with this story, but you're not the one having to share someone else (even if it's just pretend).
You make your way up to her hotel room, and she answers on the second knock. She looks really happy to see you, and she greets you with a warm hug. Today is pretty different from last night, when she was dressed in that amazing outfit. Not that she looks bad today, however: gray baggy sweatpants compliment a tight light pink shirt. It seems like she was also planning to get an early workout in.
"What's up, Y/N?" she asks sweetly, sitting down on her bed. You watch her tie her blonde hair into a ponytail as you figure out how to word what you want to say.
"So, I just talked to Thea..."
She interrupts to clarify, "Thea Trinidad?"
"Yeah, her," you chuckle. "Anyways, she made a very interesting proposition, and I wanted to run it by you first."
"Go on..."
"She wants to be in this TV romance kind of thing with me." Lexi doesn't freak out or anything... but it doesn't seem like she's too thrilled with it either.
"That's not so bad. I can live with a few kisses here and there," she sighs, but you haven't even told her the worst of it yet.
"No, the other kind of romance."
"Oh."
"Yeah. I don't really have a problem with doing that, but I know that I'm not the one having to share someone else like that," you say, sitting down next to her. "If you don't want me to do it, then I won't."
Lexi stares at nothing in particular and appears to just think, and this goes on for probably a full minute before she makes up her mind.
"You can go through with it on two conditions," she says, slowly becoming more confident with each word. This is new territory for both of you, so it's a little awkward to handle.
"Okay, what's the first?"
"When you're 'pretending' to make love with Thea, you need to remember who your girl is."
"Well of course. What's the second?"
"I want you first." The passionate kiss with which Lexi embraces you leads you to believe you're in for a long night.
