Poems I wish I could send you

I get it

I took time off from my phone the other day 

Well I more so didn't touch it for a couple of days

I finally get why you do it

It's lonely but after a day or so you start to realise that even though being alone is lonely 

You can survive 

You shouldn't have to but knowing that you can is almost comforting

It makes it easy to leave to never need anyone

I get that now 

It feels like I dont have anyone a lot more these days 

At least I know I can survive 

I can survive without friends 

People I was once so close with I considered family

But surviving isn't great is it

It's the bare minimum 

You're always simply surviving 

But at the end of the day you can only count on you right

And you'll always have you

So just surviving while its not exciting or good its stable 

It hurts less when you leave before they get the chance 

Always have an exit plan always be content knowing you need no one but yourself

I am finally starting to understand you
