The Alpha's Mate

chapter twelve : i saw Selene two

After Selene left Aurora, the Luna stood in a daze staring at the place were the goddess was standing. How will Terrick take this? she thought. Will he be able to live with a human as his mate? What if he rejects her? The questions keep coming.

 Aurora noticed a door that has not been there before. The door was black in color. The Luna walk through that door and at the other side of the door there was a long corridor which was white in color. At standing at the far end was another door that us white in color. 

 The Luna saw this as a way yo get out of this place. She ran, she would have turn to her wolf to get there but things here are not the same like in the outside world. She had tried but to no avail, her beast won't come. Its like it is sleeping. She ran for quite a long time before reaching the door and open it and she found herself inside her room in the pack house.

                             End of flashback.

She send everyone out if her room so she will be left alone with Terrick. Aurora is finding it difficult to tell her son what Selene said.

Terrick sat on his mother's bed waiting patiently for what she has to say. with the look of things, it seems like its not going to be on his favor. He can see the hesitation on hiss mother's face.

 Taking in a deep breath, she open her mouth and speak " I saw Selene". Terrick stare at his mother having a worried expression on his face. Not because of what she said but because of who she claim she saw. Terrick thought that his mom is going crazy. I would think same if I were him, I mean the Luna has been in a coma for fifty eyes and when she woke up she claim to have seen the moon goddess. I mean where and when? And the goddess is not someone you just see if you wish yo see. She is more than their god. " mom, I know that what happen to dad and uncle Sapphire cane as a blow to you and it is messing with your head" Terrick said looking all worried for his poor mother. Wolves do ho crazy especially ones who have lost their mates. "Why don't I call the pack healer for you" he continued.

" Terrick am not insane. My sanity is intact" she said a little upset by her son's thoughts " when I was unconscious I saw her, she came yo me" she continued. Terrick couldn't respond to what she is saying so he just sat quietly and loom at her while she continue with what she is saying. Even though he doesn't believe but it is best to just sit quietly and let her talk so she wouldn't be upset..

" she said something about her mate" by the mention of the word 'mate', Terrick's attention was prick . though he doesn't show it but he is anticipating for the day when he would see his mate. He imagine her to be fierce and vicious just like him.

"What did she say about her" every bit of doubt in his vanish. He ask his mother with a tint of excitement in his voice which didn't go unnoticed by the Luna. And this only help to make her hesitant to talk. She ponder if she should tell him or not.

 Terrick notice the way his mother look at him and this made Terrick to worry. Is his mate alive? Is she fine?. He can feel the mate bond between him and his mate because he has never seen her, so if it snap he wouldn't feel the pain. " mom is everything okay? Why do you look hesitant to tell me what she said about my mate?"

Deciding on telling him. "The goddess said your mate will be human" there was silent after she said that, and the silent made her yo worry that he didn't hear her. Suddenly he hear him laugh hysterically. And this made the Luna angry, not with her sin but the goddess. Why did she curse her son? He didn't do anything. Even the girl in mention she sure she hasn't commit any crime. Yes she sees thus ad a curse. For both her son son and the human girl.

Terrick wouldn't accept her and the poor girl will live life without her one true love. The mate bond is something powerful and it is felt by both parties and if Terrick fight the bond then the girl will be without her true love.

 When his laugh finally die down, look at his mother and said " then mom I think Selene is mistaken because I will never have and accept a human as my mate." After saying that he stood up and left.
