The Alpha's Mate

chapter ten : reliving the pain from fifty years

Terrick was talking to Brenda concerning something about her potions when he receive a mind like from his guard. ( alpha the Luna is up). Terrick stood unable to comprehend what he heard. He ask ( what did you say?) just to make sure that he is not hearing something.

The guard repeated his statement ( the Luna is up). Annex who stood next him and Brenda notice the change in him. He could see doubt mix with happiness and he wonder why his alpha is so happy. Unable to hold his curiosity he ask "what's wrong with you". "Mother is awake " replied Terrick before  walking away. Taking long strides to his mothers room.

The Luna who just woke up a coma a minute ago was stun to hear that she had been unconscious for fifty years. 

The images of Terrick and Annex bringing back the bodies of their father flash before her eyes. The pain she felt fifty years ago resurface.

Unable to contain the pain, she let an ear piecing scream of agony. She cried not only for her mate but for his beta Sapphire.

Aurora cried uncontrollable tears shaking vicariously. Her face shows the amount of pain she feeling. She clutch her dress trying to make the pain she is feeling go away.

Ayra couldn't help but cry seeing her Luna going through immense pain. He tried to comfort her but to no avail. Ayra understand the feeling, she witness her mom go through the same pain when her father died. The poor girl's mother couldn't take he pain so she died.

Terrick walk in to see his mother crying. He reach up to her and sat next to her,  cupping her cheek, he wipe the fresh tears that were falling wetting her beautiful face. Terrick couldn't shed tears in front of his omega.

He held his mother's forehead and gave her a light kiss not lingering there for too long. Before hugging her like she would go back to were she came from if he let go.

Though the pain she felt Earlie was no longer there, Aurora couldn't control the hot fresh tears that keep falling from her eyes. "Ter... Ter.. Terrick your dad" she said stuttering. "Shhhh its OK" he hush her while soothing her back.

She look around her room and when her eyes landed on Sapphire's wolfling, new tears pour down her face. She loves Annex like a son. To her she doesn't only have one son but two. So seeing her other child looking at her with hurt in his eyes as he can't stand seeing her cry and wail in pain. The look of hurt in his eyes shattered her already broken heart.

She stretch out her hand for Annex to take while the other one was holding Terrick. Without wasting time, Annex took long strides towards her bed and held the hand that was stretch out for him to take. She rap her hand around his shoulder like was still a pup.

It toon sometime for her sobs to stop. Annex and Terrick wipe the tears of her face. Each wiping a single cheek. They gave her a hug not saying anything but letting the hug speak for it's self. They. would always be here for her and would never leave her alone...
