Terrick knew she was already dead, he could feel something leave him. He could feel the mate bond between them snap. Yes she was his mate, the girl with the sweet smell; she smelled like the summer rose which just bloom and blossom. She was his mate.

The reason why Herrick didn't scream in pain is because he was not that close to his mate that is he didn't know her and they just met each other today. More like he met her today because the girl was unconscious and didn't see him. So that's why the pain is livid

Terrick mind was in in a war. He ask himself this questions ; I don't love humans then why is my heart feeling empty without her? Am not going to morn over her death. What am I even doing here? It's a good thing she's dead right? At least am not going to worry about my mate being a worthless human. But why am I feeling empty? Heartbroken? And abandoned? No no it's just the mate bond. Maybe if I go I'll feel better. Yes it is the mate bond between them that is making him worry and sad. Oh Selene how I wish this bond doesn't exist.

Terrick walk away from were he was standing, living his mate Catrina's body with the police and her 'relatives' who caused her death. Annex walk behind him not saying anything. Terrick will talk when he feels like to talk. Terrick walk up to the door and when he was about to walk out, he was about to turn the door knob when suddenly he turn around going back to the doctor not letting his mate stay in the hands if her murderers.

He walk up to Tue doctor looking at him fiercely " give her to me" he requested. The doctor was confused and worried. Confused as to why Terrick suddenly turn back and ask for her body. But worried because if he gives the body to Terrick then he would be depriving this grieving family from laying their daughter on her grave and if he refuse, he might end up in the grave himself.

Luck was on his side as the police butt in. " Mr Clarckson we are sorry but we can't let you take her. Her body belongs to the cops and that's us. And we will be burring her in our local cemetery when we are dine with the body, that would be after sending thus three to jail" he said pointing at the trio who have stop shedding crocodile tears. " they will be jailed for child abuse, murder " Terrick careless about the people here. All he wants is the body of his desist mate and he shall get it with or without permission. And he shall lay get her lay in their family cemetery in his pack.

Terrick careless about the people so he walk in and took his mate in his hands. The policemen rushed to him to stop him but he careless he walk like there weren't pointing their guns at him. They can't shoot him that's because he is feared y all plus he is the reason why the economy of the country is high and the country is flourishing. 

The alpha walk out and entered his car with Hus mate in his hand. A lone tear slip and flow down his manly cheeks.
