chapter nineteen: i have told you never to call me E!!

Terrick ate his meal unmoved by the stares he is getting from everyone. He shove a spoon full of food into Epie's mouth who welcome it with bliss and chew on it happily. You can't blame the child, it's been long since she ate anything this delicious.

She ate to heart content. Terrick gave her Water when he notice that she is full. " do you want fruits?" He ask the child who nodded her head. He cut the apples carefully and gave her to eat. " Terrick why are they not eating ?" She ask pointing her mouth to the people on the table who stare at their alpha with shocked expression. They can't believe that he is the one taking care of this human child who can see wolves. They wonder if she can see other creatures. " when do I get to see the sugarplum fairy" she asked " there are no sugarplum fairies here E" she frown not because he said they were no sugarplum fairies but because he called her E. She went down from his lap and stood hands at akimbo. " i have told you never to call me E! Only mommy calls me that" she said moving her fingers up and down. Then she turn to Annex and ask " am I wrong Annex? I -have have told you guys not call me E but this wolf doesn't listen" Annex chuckled. She looks cute when upset. Terrick raise his hands " am sorry princess Epie, I didn't mean to call you E. I forgot about your warnings" he apologize.

Every one on the table except Annex  and Epie were shock by the King's responds to the little girl who just warn him. Epie nodded her head to Terrick's apology and added " I won't forgive you next time. I am only forgiving you because you called me princess like daddy use to" after saying that she raise her hands up to be carried shock Terrick complied to.

After a little time everyone recover from their shock and began eating their meal. Epie notice that the person sitting at the last end of the table wasn't eating. So she step down from Terrick's lab and went to her. She took her plate with her small hands and fill it with food. " why are you no eating?" She ask the omega.

Ayra smiled at the child's thoughtfulness. No one had ever cared for her, Her parents were art Omega's like her. " I'll eat when everyone is done eating" she replied the little girl who look at her before saying " it's wrong, you'll only have leftovers and the food would be cold. Mommy said it is best to eat your food when it is still warm. It taste better that way" after saying that she pick a spoon a fill it up with food and took to her mouth. Ayra couldn't eat because of her status here at the pack so she look at Terrick for help. The alpha surprised her by nodding his head for her to eat.

Ayra who has always been eaten cold food couldn't help but relishing the meal in front of her with delight. She ate today with everyone on the table and this is all thanks to the girl who is smiling at her.

Epie went back to Terrick's side, when the alpha was done eating he left the table with his beta and Epie including his mother following him behind. Well Epie was with him hand in hand.
