Aarmon rushed down the stairs.

His footsteps resounded through the somewhat moderately sized house, his eyes on his jacket which was hung on the arm of a couch occupied by his latest girlfriend, Keisha.

He still wondered why they were still together, he hadn't dated anyone that lasted for more than two months, but they had been going for almost 6 months now. They even got the apartment together, and he still couldn't understand why.

"Are you heading out?" she asked him, wondering why he seemed to be in a hurry.

He nodded, wearing his shoes and grabbing his car keys, before collecting his jacket from the arm of the couch. "I'm going back to my hometown, Westbane... there's something I need to take care of."

She was up from the couch in an instant. "Uh... what? How come you never told me this? you can't just up and leave? We've got bills to pay? Who's gonna pay them if you're gone?"

Aarmon suppressed a groan. "Give me a little bit of breathing space, will you? I need to take care of something, you can go to your moms till I'm back... if I ever get back."

"Huh? What do you mean if? What's this important thing you have to do?"

"I'm afraid that information is a little higher than your little human reasoning."

She shot him a hard frown. "You are the worst boyfriend to ever grace the earth."

"Thanks. See ya." He headed towards the door.

"Are you seriously gonna just leave, Aaron?"

"It's Aarmon! God Keisha I'm probably never gonna return, could you at least say my name right before I leave?"

She eyed him warily, crossing her arms to her chest. "Now you're scaring me with this never gonna return crap. What the fuck have you gotten yourself into?"

"Trust me, you don't wanna know." He said.

"But I want to, what if you actually never come back? What am I gonna do about the rent?"

His mouth was left agape. "Are you shitting me? why does it seem like you only care about the rent and not me."

She lifted her palm to his face. "There are exactly three basic needs that humans should get. One is shelter, the other one is food, and the last one, well... is weed."

"God, Keisha, you really are an idiot."

She rolled her eyes, going to hug him. "Come back, or I'll storm to Westbane and haul your ass out, cause I'm not gonna go back to my dad's place, not now... not ever. So fucking stay safe."

He sighed, hugging her back. "Yeah, I will try." He said, before giving her a quick kiss and walking out of their apartment.

It had been dull... the feeling he got, but he knew it quite well... he just couldn't figure out how that was possible. How is Sama'el back in Westbane when he and Seth were very much still alive? That wasn't how it was meant to work.

He knew they had tied up all the loose ends before they left that cursed town. How come they are going back decades later, with the face of Sama'el flashing constantly through their minds?

He shook off the thoughts, getting into his car and starting up the engine. He could as well get this over with, even if there was like a 30% chance, they would be successful like they were before.

And if Sama'el was really back, then they have to be very prepared because they were sure, so sure that he was back for revenge, and God help the humans and supernaturals that dwelled in that town.
