Summer Trip

Chapter 2

 It is Afternoon and it's still hot outside, The whole neighborhood watches the news on their TVs, talking about the weather, forecast, and the temperature. The sun gives out the highest temperature of the season, it wasn't the same as last year. Last Summer was perfect, it didn't have a really hot temperature, but rain can pour in the middle of summer when it's wet, it gets dried.

In Chris' House, Caleb is playing his game on his Gamestation 5 while trying to get the hot air out the window while having a fan over there with a high speed. He is playing a race car game that you can race with your opponents, and when you're in Hot pursuit. He's still in his tank top and shorts as he's playing on his flat-screen TV in his bedroom. The car he's driving on tv was going really fast after using nitro Shockwave, He finished in first place "Man, I wish we can go somewhere that is cold" said Caleb exhaustedly "If we know what place we can go".

Chris in his bedroom is playing online with his two friends, Scotty and Magnus on his flat screen tv, playing a survival platforming game. Their only friend who is unavailable to play with is Nick the black panther.

"So nick is not playing with us?" Asked the blue and gray furred wolf.

"No, he is on vacation" Answered Magnus.

"Where did he go?" Asked the chubby dragon.

"He said he went to a cave lodge Resort," Said Magnus the brown bear.

They were exhausted as well, they can't handle the heat while they're playing their game, their characters are jumping from platform to platform, and Avoiding dangerous obstacles, They are spikes, swinging logs, dangerous hazards like the lava, enemies that are shooting at you, and falling and rolling platforms. Nick was lucky that he escaped from the heat that his parents checked the weather and went with his parents and his buffy brother.

"Nick's really lucky that he didn't get sunburned," said Scotty.

"What a lucky Panther," said Chris.

"You can say that again" said Scotty.

Their characters on screen are running and jumping from enemies that are chasing and Shooting them. But their Characters died losing all their lifes with a message reads "You failed to Escape", Which is Not amusing to the three gamers.

"Well that wasn't too bad" Thought Chris.

"Yeah, it was" Said Magnus.

"Should we play another game?" Asked Scotty.

"Yeah" Answered Magnus.

Mary is still in her bedroom, but she is talking to her friend on her laptop who is a fox, they were talking about how really hot and bad it is outside "it's really hot outside" Said Mary "I mean it's burning out there, we can't go out and get burned!"

Her friend totally agrees "You know, it's the worst that it comes burning us during summertime" said her fox friend "It'll be best if you go somewhere that is cold"

"Yeah" Mary Agrees "if we can find water to jump in"

"The news was even talking about the weather and how do we avoid it," said her fox friend "I heard them say that you gotta get yourself soaked with a cold water"

"Yeah, I wanna go out for Swimming," said Mary "it's peaceful and relaxing"

Swimming is fun to go in the water, where you can float and swim. They also do swimming sports at oceans, beaches, rivers, and swimming pools. Mary loves to go swimming in the summertime, She was in the Swimming team in every summer and she wins gold medals.

"It's just like back in the swimming team, it was really fun" Mary remembered, It was really fun for her "I wish I wanna swim again.

Chris, Scotty, And Magnus are playing an RPG game set in middle age, They've been processing to find treasures hidden inside the castle. They are playing online and they're in a team together. Scotty takes a drink of his large glass of ice water to keep himself cooled down, Magnus has a wet cold rag on his shoulders while he's still in his shorts and shirtless, and Chris has a mini fan on his table blowing towards him on his face while drinking a glass of ice water, they needed something to themselves down.

"I Wish that heat doesn't come here and burn us" Said Scotty.

"Same" Said Chris Agreeing with Scotty.

"If that heat doesn't come here for the summer, It would've been like this" Said Magnus.

"Last year was better" said Scotty Remembering the last summer experience "and now we have this?!"

"Well, I don't know how long will the heat last" Said Magnus.

One of their families was just in their living rooms watching the weather forecast on their flat-screen TV, they may often watch their favorite show, when it's Saturday morning, Saturday shows only aired on Saturdays, not Sundays. When going on road trips, they go to places with Air Conditioners, Beaches, or spend a night at a motel. It would be something for them when they plan on going for a trip.

"Why is it so humid here?" Asked Chris Exhaustedly.

"Same here," Said Scotty Agreeing with Chris "It's just awful"

"I Hate it!" Said Magnus Exhaustedly.

"No one likes it when their houses are humid that they're trying to use their fans and ice to keep themselves cold" Said Chris "My Brother was already sweaty"

"Poor Big Guy" Said Magnus feeling sorry for the big wolf.

They went back to playing their game, Caleb feels like playing some music on his bass guitar. He picked up his blue bass guitar from his stand sitting by his bed, and he sits on his chair and plays his song that he remembered playing back at the high school band, He plays with the rhythm and with the beat. Mary Came into Caleb's Bedroom interrupting his music, asking for an air conditioner.

"Hey Caleb, you have an air conditioner?" She Asked.

"No" Replied Caleb "I don't have an Air Conditioner, but i wish i do"

"Same" Mary Agreed "We can get cold in our rooms just like in winter"

Their Parents, Curt and Judy are on their phones on social media about the heat warning.

"At work, there's Air Conditioner" Said Curt.

"Yes, but we worked out shifts off" Replied Judy "We just worked today"

"Have you thought of going on a road trip?" Asked Curt.

"No" Answered Judy.

"Well, we can go for a road trip to the beach so we can get away from the heat" Said Curt.

"Great Idea!" Said Judy Surprisingly.

They have a great idea, escaping from the heat by going on a road trip to the beach. The others at their houses had the same idea.

"Loungelot, Why don't we go on a road trip to the beach!" Suggested Melinda.

"Why, that's a good idea!" Said Loungelot Feeling Excited "We can all go to the beach together and lay in the sun with a cold breeze!"

Even Wilbur and Holly thought about it too.

"I know what we should do" Said Wilbur "How about a road trip?"

"Sounds really Exciting" Said Holly feeling Excited "The Boys are going to have fun!"

"Yeah" Wilbur Agreed "Even Magnus surfs at a big wave"

"Yep, A totally cool Surfer" Replied Holly.

They have a great solution to escape from the heat, going on a road trip and spend a day at a beach, and have a fun time together. What they need is a place to go where the beach, There is one place and a town that has a beach over there, the place is called VanillaVille.

VanillaVille has motels, restaurants, Food, Drink, stores, and even the Arcades. The Place is their choice to escape from the horrid temperature, so they can have a fun summer together.
