Summer Trip

Chapter 7

 It is still bright at the beach, and they're still laying on their towels. The shadow on Caleb was a fat Chinese panda with a cooler, an umbrella, a chair, and his bag filled with snacks and goodies.

"Hey Lang!" exclaimed Chris seeing lang setting up his chair by Scotty.

"Hi guys!" said Lang to the bear, a dragon, and the three wolves.

"Lang!" said Scotty Surprisingly "You're here too!"

"Yes I am" replied Lang "It was hot back home, I couldn't stand that heat so I need something to keep myself hydrated, but water is always nice to dive in"

Lang wanted to get hydrated from the heat, the other pandas in china couldn't stand the heat because it dehydrates them, they had to look for water and build shelters for them so they can keep cool using water for drinking and getting soaked.

"Yeah, We can't stand the heat either!" said Scotty.

"It's Humid!" said Caleb.

Chris, Mary, and Magnus decides to get back to surfing, they grabbed their surfboards and went back to the water. Lang didn't know that Chris, Mary, Caleb, And Magnus can surf but Caleb didn't go back to the water until he realized that he has to go back surfing, Caleb grabbed his surfboard and back to the water.

"I Didn't know they can surf" said Lang.

"They're Cool dudes!" Replied Scotty.

Their parents are still relaxing except for Loungelot, he got buried with sand by his daughter, his head and both of his feet are sticking out, They laughed together as they were having fun, Isabelle climbs on her father's big belly, swept the sand off causing her father to giggle, and started tickling his belly making him laugh.

However, interrupted by Chris's mom informing that they should go to the glass store, they agree to go but Loungelot still wants to play with his daughter, it's been a while since they got to the beach filled with lots of animals that are too crowded and busy, where there's a lot of animals at the beach, they may be having a party or a concert.

When Judy sees lang relaxing on his chair "Hi Lang!"

"Hello Mrs. Judy" replied Lang.

"You couldn't stand the heat huh?"

"No, it's dreadful back home! Us pandas hate rising temperatures, especially when it's really hot"

Judy and holly had to call their children and tell them that they will be going to the glass art store. So they surf back to the surface of the sand, but Caleb is wet again because the wave got him and he fell back in the water, so he swims out from the water, and dries himself with a towel, and Poof! His fur got fluffy and they laughed at him.

"Put your clothes on and we'll wash the sand off your feet" said Judy "Let's go, guys! no time to lose!"

"We'll be right over as soon as we're done!" replied Loungelot laughing that his daughter is tickling both of his feet.

"Isabelle, Stop tickling your father's feet, and let's go!" Said Melinda to her daughter.

"Have a nice day at the beach, Lang!" said Judy to Lang.

"Thank you" replied Lang "Take care"

They change into their normal clothes, grabbed their stuff, and heads back to their cars, except Lang who is still in his swimsuit and wearing sunglasses, and will be spending a day at the beach. They put their stuff in the trunk of their cars and putting their surfboards on the roof, They got in their cars and drove off.

They followed each other down to the glass art store, The store is filled with sculpted figures, jars with sculptured models and architectures inside it, vases, and a piece of art, they didn't cost as much as what they have done, but they are, if you break any of the glassworks, you had to pay for it, they're expensive. The shop also has the workers making glass work by molting the sand and using the glassblower and sculpt it.

When they arrived at the glass art store, They went in and see glass artwork in a glass display, They is plenty of room for big animals to squeeze in, they split up and looked at the displays of animals, historical figures, pictures based on paintings by famous painters and more you can ever imagine. They are kept closed in the display so no one accidentally breaks them.

"This is really beautiful" Judy admiring the work of a seal.

"It's really well done" Curt agreed with his wife.

Loungelot and Melinda are looking at sculptures that are whirly, twisty, and colorful, Loungelot is examining the details and Melinda is looking at the sculpted Model.

"I say they took the course back in college" thought Loungelot that glassblowers are experts.

They're looking at works that are made by the glassblowers, They use molten glass, and turn them into glass jars, vases, jewelry, artwork, and figurines by using the tube, and tools to make them into a final shape of the glass. They're amazed

"Wow, that is satisfying to watch" Said Scotty.

"So Satisfying!" Magnus agrees with Scotty.

"They did a Marvelous job making these kinds of stuff! They must be really talented!" Commented Loungelot

"Of course they are" replied Melinda to her husband.

"That is Real hot!" Caleb Commented.

They went back to the main room and went back to looking at the sculptured glass of art, they looked and finally found what they want, they are sculptures of art, animals and a vase, they cost fifty to eighty dollars, They grabbed and took them to the cash register, they paid them with their cash and credit card and the cashier wraps them up to prevent scratches and gave them their are pieces and a receipt, one piece per family.

They went out and puts their glass sculptures in their trunks, They're two small ones and a big one, Scotty's bought a big one, and Chris And Magnus's bought small ones, Scotty's family bought a large blue clear vase, Magnus's family bought a shiny sculptured dolphin with a water base attached to it, and Chris's Family bought a blue clear shiny sculpted bass. Wilbur calls out an idea on the next place they're going, They want to go on a boat ride, it excites them. So they have to follow Wilbur's truck down to the dock.

"We're going down to the boat ride, follow us down" Wilbur suggesting them, and They Agreed to go. They buckle their seatbelts, drove off, and followed the white truck that Wilbur is driving.
