Chapter 9

 They're on their way from the boat ride to the arcades, they're excited to gain tickets to see what prize they will get, if they get a lot of tickets, they can get the prizes they wanted, but stuff that are expensive can cost ten to hundred thousand tickets, because all you have to do is get many jackpots as you can, or else it's not gonna be yours. The arcades may be filled with old and new games to play, some places can have an outdoor place that has the go-kart race, miniature golf, batting cages, and anything you can think of, They're called Fun centers, They have both indoor and outdoors, and now they have a bowling alley. When you're at a bowling alley you can enjoy pizza, while you bowl for the pins, it's a family and friends thing, You just have a fun time.

When they arrived at the arcades, They parked their cars in front of the building, but they're separated so they had room to get out of their cars. The place only has an indoor play with games that dispenses tickets for you to win. At coasts they may have the arcades that are only indoors with old and new games that don't give you tickets.

They went inside the building and they saw other animals playing arcade games, basketball, shooting games, hockey, and motion games. They can't wait to play, the first thing they need is coins, so their parents used their ten dollar bills for the quarters and they passed them to their children, they got all their coins to play, so they split and their parents went together.

Loungelot see's a medieval themed catapult game, what he didn't know is that the game dispenses tickets, so he gives it a try by inserting the coin. The game starts with the ball being put in the catapult, the red button to shoot is in the middle of the control panel, and the catapult rotates in a ninety degree angle to left and right. The backdrop of the castle has open holes on the wall and one has the fire effect that it blows to simulate the game, and lights in all of the holes, it's pretty amazing that the game is detailed with the theme.

So Loungelot pressed the launch button and the catapult launched the red ball at a open hole on the castle in the middle and he scored ten points which dispenses five tickets, so he grabbed them from the dispenser and looked at them, after looking at the tickets he pulled out, he wants to win more tickets from the game. He was going to put another coin into the game, but his wife pulled him away from the game.

Caleb and Scotty are playing a racing game where Caleb drives the bright green car and Scotty drives the bright blue car. They're playing two players and the game is going at the same time, they are so ahead of each other that their numbers of positions keep changing, They're competing with each other.

"No wonder you're good at racing," Said Scotty to Caleb.

"I've been playing race car games as a kid," Replied Caleb.

"You guys are switching places!" Said Mary came Correcting the big wolf and the dragon.

Chris and Magnus are playing a retro pace shooting game that is now remastered and remixed. They're sitting next to each other in their cock pit seats and they have ultra-powerful blasters in front of them, and a big screen with the game title 'Star quest Redux' on top of it. It was a classic game that everyone played back in the old years.

"Look at us!" Cried Magnus "We're eliminating our enemies, just like the old game!"

"We're getting a high score!" Cried Chris in joy, their excitement turns on.

Isabelle and Mike are playing the memory match game, they remembered the pictures they flipped after spending chances. The game dispenses tickets, when they match all the pictures in the next levels, They'll win fifty tickets. The game has twenty pictures to match and it adds six more pictures when going to the next round, to do so, they had to touch the screen to match the pictures.

"The game is about memory," Said Isabelle.

"Remember the pictures," said Mike, he agrees with her.

Chris's parents are playing a money game where they have to choose the suitcase that has the small amount of money. Small money is better, but big money is not. Instead of money, it's tickets. When choosing the suitcase with a lot of money, they get a small amount of tickets, but small tickets give you a big amount of tickets.

Curt chose the one that has too many tickets, a hundred and twenty 'That's not what we want."

"That's too greedy," Agreed Judy.

Loungelot and Melinda are playing the bowling game, however Melinda is scoring more than her husband, she scored three strikes and her husband scored only one strike, although he is struggling a bit. They're playing an arcade game, not a real bowling game, Loungelot thought it's like that, but he never knew.

"Wasn't this like real bowling?" he asked his wife.

"It's an arcade game, not a bowling tournament," Answered his wife, she scored another strike. He knocked eight pins down in a split, which makes it hard for him to score a spare.

Magnus's parents are playing an old western shooting gallery game, not on the arcade machine. The game has small targets all over the play field and it takes place outside of the jailhouse, occupied with snakes, cat bandits, objects, and bottles standing on a ground. The house is on the right side with the windows broken showing the cat bandit pointing his gun at a player. The jailhouse is on the left with an english bulldog as a sheriff sleeping on his rocking chair, the targets are also attached to the characters in the game.

So Wilbur shoots at the targets, scoring points. The guns are green plastic shotguns and it has the sensors between the gun and the target. Wilbur is really good at shooting ever since he watches western movies.

When he ran out of ammo, he had his wife go next "Alright Holly it's your turn!" his wife picked up the gun and started firing at targets.

Scotty and Magnus are playing an old arcade space game where you shoot at enemies, and blowing the base up after escaping. The game is hard to play, they keep getting killed by enemies, and floating projectiles. They're in two player mode, so they're taking turns.

"This is harder than I thought!" Said Scotty.

"Even the coders of the game made it difficult to play" Magnus agreed.

The background was all black, colored lines, the render of the spaceship, the enemies, and the sound of the music are eighties bit, it was from the early eighties that it became popular back then.

Caleb and Mary are playing air hockey, the table is in space theme, Mary's paddle is red, Caleb's paddle is green, and the puck is red. Mary has been scoring more than Caleb, she scored four and he scored two, Caleb wasn't happy.

"How'd you play it so good?" asked Caleb.

"I was playing it on my phone," Answered Mary.

"You won in the first round, now you're gonna slam me again!"

After their conversation and the game, Mary won again, although Caleb is a little slow.

"I Won again!" Cheered Mary, Caleb reluctantly clapping his paws.

Isabelle and her father are playing skeeball, and she is learning how to play. Loungelot thought her how to roll the ball like a bowling ball into the holes that'll give you scores, and tickets after the game. Mike and his father are playing at a shooting gallery, and it was worth it for mike.

Chris and Scotty are playing air, Magnus, Mary, and Caleb are playing a basketball game where they make their shot to score points, and their moms and dads are playing ticket operated games.

It was dusk and they have their prizes from the arcades, Isabelle have a plushy that is a pizza with a cute face on it and a magic wand toy, Mike has a blue inflatable guitar and a toy gun, The wolf siblings has sunglasses, a notebook, and a rubiks cube, Scotty got a the same prize as Caleb's, and Magnus has an inflatable alien.

Curt and Judy requested to go to the seafood restaurant since they're hungry.

"Hey, Y'all wanna eat at a seafood restaurant?" Called Judy.

Their answers are yes, They got in their cars and drove off from the arcades to the restaurants.
