The last of the intense summer heat dwindled within the city streets of Tokyo. You stood at the terminal, looking around for your escort to Tokyo Jujutsu High.
Your eyes eventually landed on a medium-statured, black-haired man in glasses. He wore a suit, tight and nearly perfect as if he worked hard to ensure all was in the correct place. His facial expression was bored and he appeared to be very exhausted. In his hand, through the crowd, he held a small sign with your name on it.

"Hello," you greeted him politely, giving a respectful bow, "I am Y/N L/N." You made sure to smile lightly in hopes of cheering up this dreary man's day. Now that you were close, you could see the dark circles under his eyes.

"Nice to meet you, I am Ijichi Kiyotaka," he bowed back with a slight smile on his face, "I'm here to take you to the campus. From there you'll meet with one of our other faculty members and they'll run through the standard procedures and give a tour." This man seemed to be all business though something about his tone seemed a bit more easy-going. He seemed like the typical, stressed young adult who was trying to do his best despite being overworked.

You nodded in response to his instructions and the pair of you quickly left the station and got into his black sedan after throwing your rolling suitcase, overly stuffed with what belongings you had, into the trunk.
It was a silent ride back, the two of you uninterested in small talk. Instead of conversation, you observed the busy outside world of Tokyo. You were never completely interested in the city, through bored eyes you watched the flashing lights and tall buildings speed by.
Kyoto was urban as well, but nowhere near the level of Tokyo. As you continued to stare out the window, your mind fell upon those you were leaving behind at Kyoto Jujutsu High. It was your mother school, where you learned everything you knew and honed your skill of needle projection to near perfection. You protected its people from curses for nearly eight years after graduation. You were sad to be leaving it, but this was something you had to do for yourself.

As Ijichi's car pulled onto campus, the scenery quickly changed from urban to something more nature-full. The school had traditionally-styled buildings surrounded by lush, wholesome trees. It seemed like a peaceful place, however, that quickly changed as you exited the vehicle.

"Hellooo!" An incredibly cheery voice sang out, drawing out the word with immense enthusiasm. "Welcome to Tokyooo!" The voice continued in a singsong-y tone. The voice came from a platinum-haired individual in a blindfold who had an action stance and jazz hands. This must be Gojo, you thought. Your face contorted into a grimace with much distaste for his lack of professionalism. There were only negative talks about the so-called strongest sorcerer around the Kyoto campus. From being a womanizer known for one night stands to challenging authority to even performing disrespectful pranks on his coworkers and even his students, you determined long before arriving that you strongly disliked him and would try to avoid the creep as much as possible.
Ijichi was busy getting your suitcase from the trunk of his car, struggling just a bit with the weight before allowing it to slam onto the ground, wheels first. Wiping the non-existent sweat from his brow, he came to stand beside the newest addition and in front of his overly-excited coworker.

"L/N-san, this is Satoru Gojo," Ijichi held out his hand to introduce the individual, motioning to his figure with a disappointed look on his face. "Gojo-san, Y/N L/N..." his hand motioned back to you, a sigh escaping toward his coworker. "Will you please show this young woman to her residence?"

"Of course! Why else would I be here?!" The man came out of his funny stance and sauntered closer to the pair, slamming his large hand onto Ijichi's shoulder. The weight of his slap down caused the smaller male to stumble a bit. "I hope this one wasn't too boring on the way over here." You closed your eyes and took a deep breath in an attempt to maintain composure.
