On your way to breakfast the next morning, you noticed Gojo messing around with his first year students in front of the student dormitory, clearly taunting the one with spiky black hair. He's definitely a Zenin, you thought.
Your nose pulsated, a big purple bruise formed on its bridge. The bruise traveled under your eyes as well, giving you a tired and beat up look.
"Good morning, Y/N," Nanami greeted, standing outside of the dining hall on campus. He was finishing a cigarette, stomping it out as you approached. "My goodness, what happened?" He asked quickly when he noticed the purple marks on your face. You gave a single laugh and closed your eyes, standing in front of him.
"Satoru Gojo happened," you shook your head and opened your eyes back up. Nanami also had an exasperated look on his face. "He had barged into my room and as I was pushing him away he used his sorcery before moving out of the way. It made me fall flat on my face and...well...here we are."
"Christ," Nanami pinched the bridge of his nose before noticing the four others were walking in your direction. "Speak of the devil."
"Hello all!" Gojo greeted. "Glad to see you two together," he teased, slapping the pair on the shoulder. Nanami rolled his eyes.
"Why did you do this to her?" Nanami motioned toward your nose. You joined Nanami and stared at Gojo, waiting for his answer with your arms crossed.
"It was an accident," he shrugged heavily, lifting his hands in the air.
"It wouldn't have happened if you put your barrier down," you hissed in response. The three students stood behind Gojo blankly, not knowing what to do or how to respond.
"You were shoving me out of your room! I had to!" Gojo whined.
"You were unwelcome!" You snapped, scolding him loud enough for the whole campus to hear.
"We'll be best friends soon, don't you worry!" Gojo chuckled. "Anyway...I have a proposition for you!"
"The answer is no," you flattened your expression as he changed the subject.
"You haven't even heard it yet," he said like a child, pausing for a moment before continuing, "I want you to join me in teaching the first years! Poor Nobara...she's the only girl...it would be good for her to have someone to relate to." The girl that stood behind Gojo dropped her jaw angrily.
"Sensei!" She shouted. "I assure you I am perfectly fine!" Her words went unheeded quickly.
"Instead of missions alone, you could join us!" He continued his proposition that you were genuinely thinking over. The downside: Gojo, the upside: working with students and teaching them something important. "Nanami has already helped out with Itadori, here," he motioned to the boy with pink hair and strange slits under his eyes, "so you could just...join the team! I mean, you have to prove your worth to the Tokyo school anyway or else they could kick you off campus!" He was clearly threatening you. He had enough power as a teacher and as a member of the Gojo family that the higher-ups, though annoyed by him, would listen.
"I..." you hesitated, "fine..."
"Great! We'll be headed out on a mission this afternoon! You can head this one!" He smiled wide. "Now...let's breakfast, everyone!" He slapped his hands together and rubbed, licking his lips.
After breakfast, the group headed to the mission. It was located at a nearby hospital's morgue and it contained a few lower level curses. Gojo allowed you to head the mission, guiding the students through the halls and allowing them to take care of each curse. It actually perked you up and you wondered if you were truly meant for teaching jujutsu.
Though it was fun, it was still exhausting. You trudged up the long staircase back up to your room where you longed to just fall onto your bed. On the bright side of things, the swelling in your nose began to go down though its coloring remained.
This time, instead of Gojo, Nanami leaned on your doorframe. You sighed, thankful it was at least Nanami, but still annoyed that you couldn't show up at your room without there being someone.
