Nanami was startled when you nearly slammed the front door. He rubbed his eyes so they could adjust to the light.

"Sorry," you mumbled, standing in the genkan.

"Everything okay?" That seemed to be Nanami's signature question. He felt as though he was asking it so much lately being the emotional middle man to much of yours and Gojo's interactions.

"Yeah...Gojo," you stepped up and walked the few paces before stepping back down into the living area.

"Back again?" Nanami asked through a yawn, staring at the watch on his wrist. "Damn..." he whispered at the time.

"Mhm," you answered him, sitting pathetically next to him - arms relaxing at your sides and feet just barely touching the floor. The large cushions of the sofa didn't help your case, when sitting all the way back they nearly took up the length of your legs. "He...wants to get rid of Akui for me to try and get me back on campus."

"Well at least he's trying to make up for it. Stealing his car may have put him in his place," he chuckled, turning his head in your direction to see your facial expression. "That wasn't all you talked about, was it?" You shook your head.

"Not quite," you blushed, trying to keep your facial muscles from moving into a small smile. Gojo's words kept repeating in your head, making your heart race. Nanami smiled to himself, not needing context.

"We're getting somewhere then," he encouraged.

The two of you went up to bed together, Nanami making sure to give you an extra amount of space at this point. It was his subliminal way of telling you to get and stay with Gojo.
You woke up the next morning to a phone call, the loud ringtone startling you awake. Nanami was already gone for the day, bright and early as usual. With no work to do, you took advantage of being able to sleep in.

"Hello?" You answered groggily, not even looking at the caller ID. You had propped yourself up on your elbow, picking up the phone with your free hand and answering it with eyes closed still.

"Y/N! Good morning!" It was Gojo's sunshine-y voice on the other line. You rolled your eyes once they were open and laid back on your pillow, phone still at your ear.

"Can I help you?" You replied, not acknowledging your cheery attitude.

"I talked to Masamichi this morning...he's willing to reinstate you!" Gojo exclaimed. "Exciting news!" Your eyes opened wide as you sat up in bed, excited for the second chance. "You can't reside on campus...but you can hang around and join our team again!"

"Oh," you slumped your shoulders in regard to the stipulations, "alright. Guess I'll keep bunking with Nanami until something changes."

"R-right," Gojo stuttered as if he didn't like that answer, "so are you coming or what? Kyoto's coming later today so the games are gonna' begin!"

"Fine...I'll be there in an hour...give or take," you sighed, hanging up the phone. You were happy to be reinstated, but you were definitely going to miss staying in Nanami's comfy bed.

You then took your time getting ready. No rush to those who didn't appreciate you in the first place. You might as well enjoy a warm shower and lazy commute.

As you made the walk up to campus from the station, you noticed Gojo's familiar lanky-self waiting for you.

"Aren't you late?" You asked, lifting an eyebrow as you closed the gap between the two of you until it was at a conversational level. Gojo turned and continued to walk with you as you headed to the usual meeting place for the event.
