AN: I wanted to leave the ending pretty open for you to decide how Y/N should proceed with the pregnancy, but considering one of the options is going through with it I just had to write fluffy trash for it.
It had been twenty-four hours since you found out that you were pregnant. You had somewhat accepted that fact, but the idea of some kind of alien-like life form wriggling around inside of you made you a bit nauseous.
You had returned to campus as Gojo wanted you to have some alone time to think things through without his interference. After hours of thought alone in your room, you came to your conclusion and dialed up Gojo.
"Satoru," you used his first name, something you didn't do often.
"Y/N," he greeted with a slight chuckle, "what's up, babe?"
"Are you...ready to be a dad?" You asked, biting your bottom lip with a smile. You had decided to go through with it.
The line was silent for a few painfully long seconds. You worried that you frightened him with such a foreign concept. That was until he gave you his answer.
"Fuucckk yes I am," he laughed, sounding completely stoked on the other end. You chuckled, feeling heat rise to your cheeks. Your heart pounded a little bit faster with the enthusiasm. "You're really going to go through with it?"
"Mhm," you answered, feeling tears pool at the corners of your eyes.
"That's amazing, Y/N," he sighed happily into the receiver. "I'll do whatever it takes..."
"I'm happy to hear it," you said warmly in return.
"Listen...you don't have to but when I tell the elders of the clan...they'll offer up the family doctor's services. She's great..." Gojo said hesitantly, trying to not send the wrong message. "One of the top doctor's in the city."
"That...would be nice," you replied, choosing to trust him. He had already told you how he felt, there was no reason not to believe him.
"Great," he sighed once more, seemingly in some kind of dream-like state back at his flat. "I guess the only thing that's left is to tell the family. Whenever you're ready...no rush." You loved how careful he was suddenly being. It was as if the prospect of becoming a father somehow brought about a more mature, thoughtful Gojo...something he probably should have been in the first place as an educator.
You decided that if you were going to do this, you needed to step on the gas pedal and lock in that decision. You told Gojo that you wanted to get it over with right away and, of course, the family elders were ecstatic when they found out. Obviously that happiness came from continuing the family line and not of actual joy for your well-being. Just as Gojo had described, they were uninterested in everything that didn't involve lineage - one of the main reasons he was so estranged.
Either way, they hooked you up with that amazing doctor. Meeting her in person truly demonstrated her careful care and consideration. It didn't take long for you to feel the spoiled nature of the Gojo family - only the best for the best.
The nerves you had didn't stop. They continued taunting you day in and day out until you had your first appointment. Gojo, somehow so confident and calm, strolled into the examination room with you while you trembled in front of him.
You could barely even hop onto the examination table, using Gojo's forearm as a handrail. He thought it was just so adorable how nervous you were. Each time you glanced at him with worried puppy dog eyes he'd give you a look of encouragement, as best as he could from behind his blindfold. After, he'd immediately chuckle - turning your cheeks red. Your mind simply could not wrap around the fact that you were having a child with the very man you detested just two months prior. Things were moving fast.
