3RD PERSON POV

     Sasuke and Naruto had just finished packing for their upcoming honeymoon. Before they left, Naruto decided to get his monthly check-up for the baby a bit early. They set off for Konaha's hospital after sending word to Tsunade, who was the only one who knew enough to properly do the check-up.

     It didn't take much time for the check-up to be done, and after Tsunade had confirmed that Naruto and his baby were almost guaranteed to enter their third month in great health, they thanked her and headed back home. During their walk they'd both noticed a flash above the park, which was odd because it was still incredibly early and most people were asleep at this time. After some nagging from Naruto, Sasuke finally agreed to investigate.

     Sasuke and Naruto went over to the park, trying to find exactly where the flash had shown. Sasuke insisted that Naruto stay behind him, worried for both his child and his lover. Eventually Sasuke found where he believed the flash went off, and suspiciously there was a boy that looked not much younger than them, sitting there.

     He had black hair, as well as kitsune features. Except Naruto noticed that he had three tails instead of one, which he made sure to also point out to Sasuke. They watched the boy warily as he tried to stand up, nearly failing and almost falling. For some reason Naruto felt the urge to protect him and stop him from getting hurt, so he stepped forward to hold him steady.

     "Kami, my head! That hurts." The boy groaned, rubbing his temple. He looked up to see Naruto and Sasuke and froze. After a second he gained the sense to react, moving away and turning to face Naruto who'd still been holding him. "Arigato..."

     Naruto noticed that the boy had deep blue eyes, as well as a single scar-like mark on either cheek.

     "No problem at all! Uh, here let me heal you." Naruto went up to the boy and examined where his injuries were, before beginning to heal them.

     "My name is Uchiha Sasuke, and you are?" Sasuke asked, earning the attention of the boy.

     "Eto... my name? It's uh, Uz-Uzumaki Menma." The boy said, catching on his words in Hope's he had remembered the clan name correctly. Both Naruto and Sasuke assumed it was from the healing process.

     "Uzumaki? I thought there was barely any left." Naruto said, more thinking to himself. "Oh! I'm Namikaze-Uchiha Naruto, my kaa-san is also a part of the Uzumaki clan. Though she's technically a Namikaze now..."

     Naruto returned his focus on healing Menma, while the boy mentioned looked around awkwardly. He had begun feeling sleepy, one of the effects that healing usually has since it uses chakra to do so.

     "Naruto, be careful. You're using so much chakra, you might end up overusing at this rate." Sasuke warned his husband, who nodded but continued anyway.

     "I know, but I'm almost done at this point." Naruto said, blinking rapidly to clear his foggy vision.

     Before he could finish healing Menma he collapsed, Sasuke catching him before he could hit the hard ground. Menma watched awkwardly, seeming to want to help but not knowing what to do. Sasuke picked Naruto up and continued his original trail to the house, looking back and gesturing for Menma to follow.

     When they reached the compound Minato was outside, but he held the door open for them to go in. Sasuke nodded towards him, thanking him for holding the door. He got inside and carefully laid Naruto down on the couch, making sure he'd recover from the chakra loss before turning to see Kushina in the living room as well.

     "Sasuke? What's wrong with Naruto? And who is this random boy?" Kushina was the first one to bring attention to the stranger, but now that he'd been mentioned all attention was on him.

     Akauri suddenly bound down the stairs, looking towards Naruto's direction and walking to sit next to him. When he looked over his brother and found him uninjured, he focused his attention on the other three people.

     "Who's this rando?" Akauri asked, pointing at Menma. Menma looked like he wanted to say something in response, but decided against it.

     "This boy says his name is Uzumaki Menma. We found him at the park for some reason." Kushina instantly looked at the boy with suspicion.

     "Would you mind if I asked you some questions, Menma?" She regarded him kindly and gestured for him to sit at the kitchen table. He nodded and followed after Kushina, sitting down and looking around nervously.

     Sasuke took the opportunity to run Naruto upstairs, laying him down in their bed. He checked the time and sighed, relieved that there was no worry of being late yet. He returned downstairs to see Menma looking down at his lap and Kushina looking at him pityingly.

     "I'll just tell you about what my life's like." Menma said, a slight trace of nervousness in his voice. "In my universe... My parents are dead. I've lived by myself almost all my life, but recently my uncle Nagato took me in."

     Kushina gasped, apparently knowing whoever Nagato was. Menma continued as if he hadn't even heard her.

     "My dream is to become strong, and find a way to find out what my parents were like. I'm willing to do anything for that goal. I'll even become Hokage, then they won't be able to tell me no." Menma looked seriously at his hands, almost scowling. Suddenly his expression changed, returning to anxious-relaxedness.

     "Anyway, I should probably be on my way. I need to find out how to get home and something tells me if I don't leave now you'll try and get me to stay. So thank you for the hospitality, but I'll be taking my leave." Menma stood up and dusted his shirt off, which was now clearly an ANBU shirt.

     He went to the door, turning around and waving once before finally leaving. Kushina sighed, some form of disappointment in her tone. She was hoping that she'd finally found another member of her nearly-extinct clan.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
     Menma began running as soon as he was out the door, heading towards the park once again. His mind was racing as he replayed what had just happened in his head.
     'I didn't even know those hand signs were for an actual jutsu!' He thought, confusion and panic both at the forefront of his mind. 'And a time-travel jutsu at that! I'll have to ask tou-sama about it.'
     Menma thought back to Naruto, who he'd instantly recognized. His mind reeled at the thought that he'd just met his past parents. While his tou-sama was pregnant with him as well. he felt a slight twinge of guilt at the realization that he'd just lied a lot to his own father and grandparents. But what was he to say? 'Oh yeah my parents are doing fine and dandy! My actual name is Menma Namikaze-Uchiha and I traveled through time using what should be a forbidden jutsu! Naruto is my papa and I'm actually the future prodigy of what is left of the small Uchiha clan. Oh, and Itachi-oji says HI!'
     He scoffed but even still he couldn't shake the bad feeling, yeah yeah he was a softy for his parents, isn't everyone?! He groaned in irritation and sped up his pace for the park, gasping for breath by the time he finally got there. He carefully redid the hand signs, focusing on the thought of returning home.
     Suddenly, smoke surrounded him. By the time the smoke had cleared, he was gone.
This is a way shorter chapter than the previous one, but it's still a double publish day for me.
Enjoy this
Oh and btw, I know the author had originally made Menma like the alternate dimension type that showed up in actual Naruto, but I really liked the idea of him being their future son so- I did that. That's why some of his characteristics are different.
