3RD PERSON POV

Naruto quickly got up from his place in bed in order to run to the bathroom and empty his stomach of last night's dinner. He groaned irritatedly as he continued retching, fed up with the annoying bathroom visits. Morning sickness was supposed to be done and gone, finished with his first trimester. But apparently he wasn't so lucky, and so he was still left with puking at some point almost every day.

At some point he'd woken Sasuke, who came in behind Naruto and gently rubbed circles on his back. Naruto whined as he once again felt like being sick, and his ears flattened from the burning left behind in his throat. He smiled faintly when Sasuke wrapped his tail around a few of Naruto's, trying to comfort him as much as possible.

Once Naruto was positive he was done puking he washed his face and brushed his teeth. He made his way down the stairs, holding Sasuke's hand so he'd feel a little bit of solace.

Sasuke sighed to himself. He had never gotten the chance to take Naruto on the planned honeymoon, seeing as the original boat director had fallen ill with something. By time they'd found a replacement who'd be willing to go all the way across the ocean Naruto had reached his 5 month mark and the sickness kicked in. At that point Naruto had confessed he didn't want to go anywhere, so Sasuke complied and the honeymoon was forgotten.

Naruto was now 7 months in and had an astonishing craving for tomatoes and dango- separately of course. When Sasuke had first begun buying dango for Naruto he convinced him to try a bite, and admittedly Sasuke had developed a certain sweet tooth for the treat.

Akauri was currently with his team, where Sakura was- surprisingly -their sensei. They had deemed Sasuke and Naruto's new house as their team meeting area, after Naruto confirmed it was okay of course. Naruto and Sasuke had decided to finally get a home of their own, so they moved into a nice house around the outskirts of the village. While it was a bit far from everyone else, it was a peaceful and quiet area that seemed ideal for raising a child.

Naruto was making lunch for everyone when he heard someone knock on the door. He put the stove on warm and went to answer it, opening it to see Sakura and her students. Akauri was smiling widely at Naruto as he ran inside and gave him a gentle hug.

"Oh there you are. Come on in, I'm making lunch right now." Naruto grinned and returned to the kitchen. He chatted with them through the window between the two rooms as he continued lunch.

"Ne aniki, where's Sasuke-nii?" Akauri asked, looking around as he noticed the lack of Sasuke's presence.

"He went on a short mission this morning, he should be coming home soon actually." Naruto said, checking the time to confirm his statement.

At that moment someone shunshined into the house and pulled Naruto into a hug from behind.

"Wha-..?" Naruto jumped, turning around to see Sasuke was the one hugging him. "Sasuke!"

Naruto quickly hugged Sasuke again, his tails swishing happily and entwining with Sasuke's.

"Tadaima, Naru-koi." Sasuke said, kissing him on his forehead and both cheeks before pulling away. Usually he would finish with kissing his lips, but he was very much aware of the audience they had.

"Kami, don't surprise me like that." Naruto scolded Sasuke, though there was no true irritation in his tone. Sasuke chuckled and pretended to be afraid. Sakura smiled and laughed along with them, still feeling a sense of wonderment at how different Sasuke had become over the years.
